As revealed by the folks at Image on tumblr, it appears that everyone’s favorite crossbow-wielding, smolder-throwing version of Norman Reedus is coming to the comics just as the mega-event ‘All Out War’ wraps up in the pages of the book. I don’t think we need to say much more than that, do we?

If this is an April Fool’s joke, it’s certainly an elaborate and mean one for many “Walking Dead” fans. But we’ll run it anyway. You know. Just in case it’s one of those real news things.

Here’s the solicit:

THE WALKING DEAD #129
STORY: ROBERT KIRKMAN
ART: CHARLIE ADLARD, STEFANO GAUDIANO & CLIFF RATHBURN
COVER: CHARLIE ADLARD & DAVE STEWART
JULY 16
32 PAGES/BW/M
$2.99

Enter Daryl Dixon.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
