i thought i was feeling better but my fever has been on and off these last days and i think it´s my body´s way of telling me to slow down.

sometimes we want so many things at the same time but our bodies can only do so much.

hey guys!
we´ve been lucky on this side of the planet that we´re not covered in snow (i hate snow footwear!).
the sun was shining and it was a pretty nice winter day.
super nice that i felt pretty brave to dodge socks!
so, let us talk about the classic black pumps.
i own about 5 black pumps, plain, not-so-plain, expensive, cheap you name it i have it!
but i never seem to find real satisfaction with one pair.
i have been debating with myself for years now if i should get some black pigalle louboutins.
but somehow every time i try them on, something´s always off.
they´re uncomfortable, i never seem to find the right size for me..
so i thought, maybe there isn´t a perfect pair?
but then i came about THESE pumps.
they´re studded, thus, not so classic (which is so me), the shape, the heels, the comfort factor, everything is just right.

loving this feeling of relief that i finally don´t have to try on every black pump i come across!
i finally found mine!

better late than never, here are some of the pictures i took from the newly opened C&A store in Schadowstrasse in Düsseldorf.

Germany being the largest market for the company, it was a no brainer to do the first #REIMAGINE store here!

the concept being "Inspired by Life", the metro as the catwalk, bikes as clothes rail, hats as lamps, i couldn´t help but wonder if we were still in a C&A store...

the clothes were spot on and fresh (words that you wouldn´t normally associate with C&A) just as the whole store. 

together with 77 press representatives from all over the world, we were able to catch a glimpse of what the company has in store for us in the future.

and it is looking good!

of course i couldn´t leave the store empty handed, i just had to bring home this blouse with me! i would have brought home those bicycle clothes rail if it wasn´t glued on the floor. LOL

hey guys!
i wore this outfit for a wedding last weekend. this dress does wonders at any occassion. i cannot count how many times i´ve been asked where it´s from.
my foot is better now, thank you to all those who asked. but wearing high heels is still such a pain, THUS the funeral. of my foot, to be exact.
anyway, i am in Berlin for the weekend.
i was sent by Stylight to watch the exclusive launch of Lady Gaga´s Artpop album in Berghain last night.
IT WAS AMAZING.
sadly no phones or cameras were allowed but once i get a hold of press pictures i will show you.
she wore just underwear, a fur stole and a moustache.
give it up to gaga to pull anything off!

anyway, have to run!
berlin shopping is calling.. good luck to my credit card.

i cannot stop listening to this song, thus the title..

but also, the weather lately has been amazing. i could just dance. SONNENTANZ is sun dance in german, how appropriate.

i don´t want to be that lady who only talks about the weather but it brings me to an important point.

i could finally take out the big guns that have been hidden over the summer period, one by one.

this jacket feels so new compared to my battered black one.

time to change that huh?

we all have things for carousels right?
felt like a kid again (or still) with my kid yesterday while strolling around strasbourg.
i love how much happiness this 2 euro ride a kid (or an adult for that matter) brings.
anyway, i have to pack for a quick day trip to Rotterdam tomorrow and South of France on Sunday with my boys! YAYY

so there´s kind of a love story between this jacket and me.
when i saw Jayne from Stop It Right Now rocking it on Zara´s new People Lookbook, i knew, i had to get it. (do check out her Style Profile on afterdrk´s blog HERE. so amazing)
but so did a lot of girls. :(
i never found it on our tiny tiny Zara.. not even in Barcelona. or in London.
so imagine my surprise when i saw it hanging on a lonely sale rack waiting to be snatched at 1/2 off the original price!
