With the festival of light, Tihar, just around the corner, the festive vibes are getting everyone excited.

Here’s everything that has happened this week.

PHP Developers Meetup #20

20th iteration of the “PHP Developers Meetup” happened last Saturday, October 19th at Islington College. The meetup was a regular event hosted by PHP Developers Community, Nepal with the main objective to connect like-minded people, PHP enthusiasts, and developers to share the knowledge. This meetup was beyond what was expected mainly because of two reasons: The last edition was one and half years ago and secondly it was organized on a very short notice.

Akita Nakarmi was one of the three speakers in this event. She presented her talk on the topic “Beginners Guide for TDD in Laravel”. Biju Nakarmi Kushal Raj Shrestha, Puncoz Nepal, Sandip Shrestha from our office also participated in this informative event.

Travel Diaries

Nothing can beat the feeling of being one with nature, and what’s the best way to experience it other than hiking your way to nature. Our colleagues Rakesh Pradhan, Ashish Shakya, Manish Pradhan, Manish Singh set out for a week-long adventure to Langtang last week. Below are some pictures capturing the beauty of our country along their way.

Happy Tihar

The festival of light(also known as Yama Panchak, Deepawali), Tihar is here, and who does not love city filled with blinking lights, dance and music and some quality time with friends and family. We will be celebrating Laxmi puja on Sunday here at office.

That’s a wrap for this week. Have a safe and happy Tihar everyone.
