Al Rabat Building Contracting Co completes piling and shoring on Sabah Rotana

54-storey project is being overseen by Al Asri Engineering Consultants

RSG Group of Companies, developer of the Sabah Rotana in Dubai, says that contractor Al Rabat Building Contracting Company has completed the piling and shoring works on its hospitality project.
Located on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai with views of the Palm Jumeirah and Burj Khalifa, it is projected to be launched before Expo 2020. The five-star, green compliant property will feature 536 rooms including executive suites and a presidential suite in addition to hotel apartments, said the developer. RSG Group of Companies is developing the Sabah Rotana in collaboration with hotel management company Rotana and the final building will top out at 54 storeys.
The developer added that Al Rabat Building Contracting Company was supported by a “competent team of an on-site crew” during the works and that further excavation work has also been started “in order to avoid any delay” in the construction progression. The consultant and designer on the project is Al Asri Engineering Consultants and the project is currently on track towards a scheduled opening in 2020.
“Congratulations to the team that has completed yet another step towards the development of the project,” said Raj Sahni, Founder & Chairman of RSG Group of Companies. ” I am very pleased with the progress Sabah Rotana is making and I am confident that we will be able to launch it before Expo 2020, as planned. The hotel will most assuredly become a fine addition to not just the hospitality industry but also to the iconic Dubai landscape.”
