Birthday Birdy and Cupcake

Hello.
Today I have two cards made using Hero Arts new Birthday Words digikit and a sweet birdy from the Happy Bird-Day kit.  All the pretty papers are from Echo Park's Springtime paper pack.

I also made this quick cupcake card with the Birthday Words kit, using a background stamp from the kit. I used Photoshop to crop the single sentiment from the background stamp. The cupcake is from the Say It (In Pictures) digikit, the yummy paper is from THIS Echo Park kit, and I added silk ribbon from Thew Ribbon Girl.

P.S.
Before I go, just thought I'd let you know I'm having a big stamp sale at my Ebay store. :)

Great Big Sunflower

I have another card to share today using the new Patterned Petals Digikit. Today I used a flower centre from one of the blooms to create this huge sunflower.

The sky background is from Echo Park's Summer Days digikit, as is the pretty yellow paper I used to make the sunflower. In the middle of my sunflower, I piled a load of gems. (Tip: I didn't have any black gems, I seem to have run out. So I used blue ones and just coloured them in with a Sharpie. )  Oh, and the sentiment is from THIS kit.

Pretty Flowers

Ooops - it's been a few days since I posted. It's amazing how fast time flies by when you have a little one in the house. The days go by in a blur.
Anyway - today Hero Arts release 2 new digikits over at twopeas - Patterned Petals and Birthday Words, and I've got some cards to share with you made using these kits. Today, I played with the Patterned Petals kit. I printed the purple flower out as it appears in the kit, and layered the pink ones over some digital paper from THIS kit. Then I cut them out and stuck them onto a sweet jornaling card from THIS fun pack of mini envelopes.  I used sweet alphabet stickers from THIS collection and a gorgeous brad and patterned paper from MME.

This flower kit is fab - the flowers come already coloured, and in outline, so you get the best of both worlds. Great if you like colouring, or if you don't. :)
Back tomorrow with more featuring today's releases. See you then.

Gingham Bear

Hello and happy Friday.
I've got a baby card to share today. I made it for the Moxie Fab World Gingham Challenge. I decided to use 3 different gingham prints on my card - I do love gingham but hardly ever use it... I always default towards polka dots... :)  The yellow gingham is from October Afternoon's Sidewalks pad, the pink is from THIS MME pad, and the gingham ribbon is actually Bias Binding from The Ribbon Girl.  I used a sweet stamp from Lawn Fawn's adorable Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum stamp set. It's fun to get more from Christmas supplies. :)

Happiness and Love

Hey!
Just popping in to share a card I made ages ago but don't think I shared here... not sure why!  A bit of MME, Hero Arts and some yummy Ribbon Girl bits and pieces. :)
Happiness and Love
I really need to do more stamping in coloured inks - I love the effect but always seem to use black... must remember that!
Have a happy day. Back soon.

You Light up my Life

Hello, and happy Tuesday.
It was a holiday Monday here yesterday, and we had a lovely family day. :)
And I got a bit of time to create too... I decided to make a card for the new challenge over at Paper Smooches Sparks blog.  Create a card inspired by this photo:
I recently got some Paper Smooches stamps - and they are just so cute. :)  For my card, I used the Smoocheroos set, paper piecing the lighthouse onto some digi paper from Hero Arts A Day at the Circus digikit which I embellished with some simple machine stitching. Oh I do love my sewing machine. :)

Hope you get a chance to play along with this fun challenge. :)
Have a great day. x
