Birthday Wishes

Hello.
Just popping in to share a sunny and happy birthday card created with some fun Simon Says Stamp products.
Birthday Wishes by Lucy Abrams
To make the card, I die cut three Stitched Daisies from some MFT patterned paper and adhered them together, adding a Sparklet to the centre for a bit of bling. Next, I trimmed down some more MFT paper (love this pad), and stitched some coordinating polka dot strips  down the side. I die cut the Painted Happy Birthday from black card, adhered it to the card and stamped a sentiment from Best Hugs below. Finally, I added the flower.

MISTI May-nia

This month, kind Iliana, owner of My Sweet Petunia and creator of the MISTI , is giving away a Mini MISTI every day.  Since I purchased my Mini MISTI a few months ago, I have used it on every single card I have created. Finally, no more wasted cardstock and patterned paper - I get the stamped results I want every single time. Seriously, this thing is the most useful tool I own!!

Unfortunately I have been sick recently and have not been able to create a card showing off the wonders of the MISTI - but HERE, HERE and HERE are a few of my recent creations that I would never have attempted without my MISTI. :)

All you need to do is leave a comment here by Wednesday 1st June to be in with a chance of winning a mini MISTI.

Yay!

Hello and happy Monday!! I hope you had a good weekend.
Today I have a simple shaker birthday card to share with you...
Yay by Lucy Abrams
To make this card, I first took some Lawn Fawn patterned paper, and stitched a sheet of acetate over it, leaving an opening at the top. I filled the pocket with my Phosphorescence Shaker Selection, then stitched up the gap and adhered to a folded card. Next, I die cut a Large Tag from white card and stamped my sentiments from Simon Says Stamp's Hello Beautiful set using black ink and my Mini MISTI for a perfect finish. I die cut the horse from the same patterned paper, using Simon Says Stamp's Carousel die, then trimmed off the top and bottom. I adhered this to the tag, then flicked the tag with plenty of Wink of Stella glitter, before adding Lawn Fawn cord and adhering to the card.

Friend

Hello, and happy Friday.
Today I am sharing a second card created with the June Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.
Friend by Lucy Abrams
To make this card, I took some of the gorgeous Bo Bunny floral patterned paper in the kit, and trimmed out three of the flowers. I coloured the outer petals with the glitter pen from the kit for some added sparkle. Next, I die cut a Stitched Rectangle from some Hero Arts Letterpress Paper, then splattered with Wink of Stella. I adhered this to a folded card that I had covered in another sheet of Bo Bunny paper. I adhered the flowers to the card with foam tape, adding some sequins from my Just Peachy Shaker Selection. Finally, I die cut the Painted Friend from black card, coated with Wink of Stella and adhered to the card with foam tape.

Look for the Miracles

Hello.
I'm dropping in today to share a simple shaker card I created with the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit. This kit is full of rainbows... perfect for happy, summery cards.
Look for the Miracles Main by Lucy Abrams
To make my card, I first stamped the sentiment and some hearts on some of the Bo Bunny patterned paper using my MISTI -  it's so great for double stamping to get a perfect black impression. Next, I stitched acetate to the paper panel, leaving an opening at the top. I added some of my Crystal Shaker Selection into the pocket, then stitched up the last bit and adhered to a black cardstock panel. Finally, I adhered everything to a white notecard.

Super simple, but super sparkly too.
Thanks for visiting, make sure you check out this month's kit HERE. I'll be sharing another kit card soon...
Bye for now.

Sweet Baby Girl

Hello.
Today I have a shaker card to share that I created with my new Jewels. If you have not seen them, I added them to my shop yesterday - they are packs of pretty, sparkly gemstones, and each pack contains three different sizes of jewel. They make great shaker card fillers, but can also be used as embellishments. Just add with your favourite adhesive (I used Multi Matt Medium).

To make my card, I first die cut a Stitched Circle from some Crate Paper Little You Girl patterned paper. I used this as a guide to stamp my sentiment from Hero Arts' Little One stamp set on more paper, then backed the circle with acetate and added double thickness of foam tape to be sure my gemstones would be free to move about properly. I created a pile of both Clear Irides
cent Jewels and Rose Pink Jewels onto the sentiment panel, then adhered the window panel on top, sealing in my jewels. Next, I stamped the cute elephant pair from Clearly Besotted's Just the Two of Us onto some Pebbles patterned paper, hand cut it out, and adhered to the card. Finally I added a few more Clear Iridescent Jewels to finish.

So sparkly and fun. I was thinking the clear Jewels would be fun in an engagement shaker card too. :)
OK - that's all for today. Thanks to everyone who ordered the new products! So grateful for all my wonderful customers.
Hugs.
