Note: This is a long post with numerous images! Hello dear friends, Seeing you all after a short hiatus. How you all been? To my Hindu friends, Happy Diwali once again! Yeah, Diwali is still on right...sure many of you are still celebrating by having open houses or visiting friends and relatives. Enjoy the celebration which comes only once a year! Sigh ;) Now to the topic. My daughter Ashika and I are November babies! Mine on 7th and her's a week later 14th! My Hubby fortunately was home for mine...but left for Uruguay on 10th. So he was not around for both Ashika's birthday and Diwali. I got a surprise cake from Hubby and my kids. It was a lovely moment for me to celebrate my big day with my most beloved ones. What else you need when your beloveds are with you? This is the cake...beautiful isn't it! Three roses resembles my Hubby, son and daughter :)

9 years of Love, going stronger!...

Thaipusam 2012 at Batu Caves, Malaysia...♥

The spirit of 1 Malaysia is truly felt with the Muslims celebrating Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad's Birthday), the Chinese celebrating Chap Goh Mei (15th day of Chinese New Year), and the Hindus ( mostly Tamils) celebrating Thaipusam , in a row. This year Thaipusam falls today,7th February. Living in a state of Selangor, the nearest Thaipusam event for us, would always be Batu Caves, the ever famous tourist spot in Malaysia. The world's tallest Lord Muruga statue and 272 steep steps have been the main attraction all time. Thaipusam is the time you can see millions of devotees paying vows to Lord Muruga by carrying kavadis and paal kudams (milk pots). It's so fascinating and heart touching to see these will powered devotees climbing up the stairs, carrying big and heavy kavadis on their shoulders to fulfill their vows. The Urumi Melams (traditional musics) can make anyone move their feet. Overall...its a WOW!!!! This year, it's expected about 1.5million visi

Hello and goodday to one and all...my cyber friends, readers, visitors and followers :) Back again to share some pics from my daughter's birthday party! We hosted a dinner party in conjunction with Ashika's 3rd Birthday at the Royal Gourmet, Premiere Hotel, Klang last Saturday, 26 November. Themed Mickey and Minnie, the hall was beautifully decorated with Mickey and Minnie helium balloons. We also brought in Mickey and Minnie mascots together with Chee Chee Clown just to entertain the kids. As expected, the kids had loads of fun the whole evening. Can see so much joy in their eyes when they saw Mickey and Minnie, and more during Chee Chee's magical and game show. :) Not forgetting, the cake is also a specially ordered 3D Mickey and Minnie! Overall, the evening turned out a grand success with overwhelming crowd which we didn't expect at all. The food, catered by the hotel, also did not disappoint our guests. Felt so happy and satisfied when everyone complime
