  • Day1 Chengdu

    Meet up with your Chengdu local guide at Chengdu Shuangliun International Airport.

  • Day2 Chengdu

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Jinsha Site Museum, People's Park, Jinli Old Street

    This morning, drive to visit Jinsha Site Museum. Jinsha was the site of the ancient Shu (Shu is the ancient name of Sichuan. Today Sichuan is also officially abbreviated as Shu) Kingdom between 12B.C. and 7A.D. It is famous for the mysterious Shu culture and unique bronze civilization. The museum was onstructed on the Jinsha ruin site. In the museum, you can see many artifacts and everyday products made of gold, bronze, jade, stone, ivory, lacuqered wood and pottery, from which you will learn the daily life of people of 3,000 years ago. The most famous article is the Gold Foil of Sun and Immortal Bird, which has many stories and legends about the patterns on it.

    At noon drive back to the city to visit People's Park, where you can order a pot of tea, have a casual chat and watch locals indulging themselves in different kinds of entertainment - napping, playing Mahjong, disco dancing, giving neck massages, and practicing calligraphy with water on the floor etc.


    In the afternoon, move on to Jinli Old Street. Time steals away from you quietly while walking on the lively streets which are full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, etc.

    Optional night show: Sichuan Opera, which includes folk opera, face changing, fire spitting, rolling lights, and other delightful entertainment ( 20:00 - 21:30).

  • Day3 Chengdu

    Transfer via: flight – your arrangement

    Activities for today: China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda Dujiangyan Base

    After breakfast, drive to Dujiangyan, where you will spend the whole day to experience some interesting programs on the giant panda loving care in China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda Dujiangyan Base. Below is your rough schedule:

    Pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu.

    Arrive at the Dujiangyan Panda Base and sign up with the assistance of your guide.

    09:00am–10:00am
    Clean the panda enclosures.

    10:00am–11:00am
    Take a break and tour around the panda base.

    11:00am–11:30am
    Feed a panda

    11:30am–13:00pm
    Have lunch and a rest.

    13:00pm–14:00pm
    Watch a panda movie

    14:00pm–15:00pm
    More cleaning and feeding.

    15:00pm–15:30pm
    Make panda cakes.

    15:30pm–16:00pm
    Get a certificate.

    Later, head to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport for your return flight.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
Entrance fees:
All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
Transportation:
All the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax/ or train ticket(s) as specified in the itinerary.
