On Mandela Day, the essence of kindness, unity, and compassion filled our hearts. Utata Mandela’s profound words echo: “There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.” Inspired by this wisdom, our team showed love and support at the Thembalami Care Centre, dedicating their 67 minutes to acts of kindness. We shared goodies, gifts, played games and shared laughter. A big shout out to all our teams for giving back and creating cherished memories with the lovely elders of Thembalami Care Centre. One of our team members who is fluent in sign language really played a crucial role in enabling us to communicate with all the elders at each facility, including those in the deaf facility.   Let’s make Mandela Day, every day. For Youth Day this year, we invited all employees to dress in school uniforms, reminiscent of the courageous students who marched during the Soweto Uprising.
