Key Responsibilities: Operate Winding Equipment: Manage the controls of hoisting systems to raise and lower cages and skips safely. Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety checks and emergency drills. Job Alert: Draughtsman -Required for 2x branches in Sandton & Benoni Duties & Responsibilities Strict adherence to industry standards, to ensure the designing of quality products that meet industry compliance standards. Strict adherence to company processes and procedures. Generate mechanical component models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, casting drawings, sheet metal, pipe routing and structural steel. Generate CAD files for CNC machines. Generate images for marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, websites, and procedures, reports and other documents. Research the latest industry innovations and trends for new product development and product improvements. Collaborate and communicate internally and externally, with suppliers, and 3rd party stakeholders. Assist with ISO implementations, writing of product procedures, improvements to job flows and tooling for better performances in operations. Manage and maintain proper records of documentation as required. Sort, organise, and file documentation, hard copy filing, and soft copy filing on the server. Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required from time to time.    Work Experience: 3-5 years minimum working experience in a mechanical engineering industry will be preferable. 3D designing in engineering is essential. Valves, hydraulics, and piping is essential (manufacturing / fabrication processes will be an added advantage) Experience with any other Engineering industry will be an added advantage.    Critical Skills Requirements: Good understanding of valves, hydraulics, and piping systems. Good understanding of water reticulation systems and flow control applications in mining and other industries. Strong understanding of SolidWorks and 3D Experience (Cloud services). Understanding of Visualise. Ability to read technical drawings and technical product document. Knowledge of industry specifications, codes, and standards. Knowledge of metals and steel materials and material selections in applications. Strong knowledge of processes, applicable procedures, and technical document writing. Knowledge on using various measuring equipment for dimensional take-offs, redline as-built drawings, and other parts and components.    General Skills Requirements: Numeric and mathematical literacy Strong understanding of units of measure Planning skills Communication skills Computer literacy is essential. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications (word, excel, etc.) Ability to brainstorm in a technical collaboration (Internal, External). Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to solve problems.   Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s licence. Must be willing to work overtime as required. Own reliable transport will be an added advantage.    Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 Certificate in 3D Designing (Preferably SolidWorks) Certificate in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
