Creating local jobs and therefore giving back to the country that has given us so much has always been a dream of ours and it has now become reality ✨ Ollie Cape Town has created a 5-month Entrepreneurship Program in Cape Town, where EU students intern at local startups & scale ups and develop themselves both professionally and personally through workshops, events, seminars and coaching. We believe an internship abroad can be so much more; a giant leap into your early career and an incredible learning opportunity. Our second open role, starting mid August, will be that of a Program Coordinator. We’re looking for a special someone that can organise events, coach our students, host workshops and contribute to the overall Ollie experience. It will be a position for 24-30 hours per week, in a hybrid office setting and with events participation. Experience managing events and/or communities is a must and excellent people skills are valued highly. Here's what Seb shared with us: 🏡 Living with 9 people creates a cozy atmosphere and ensures that it's never dull. 🏃♀️ The active lifestyle in Cape Town offers endless opportunities, along with a crucial work/life balance. Yes, hard work is necessary, but there should also be time to enjoy life. 🌳 The beautiful nature so close to the city allows for easy post-work climbs up Lion's Head and witnessing breathtaking sunsets. 🍽️ Exploring all the charming restaurants in Cape Town. 💪 From what I've learned, I feel like I've truly experienced the workings of a real company, where not everything goes smoothly without mistakes.
