GOING BIG ON OUR HOME TURF Eben And Bongi Visit Jonsson Workwear HQ Eben and Bongi are a big deal… in more ways than one. So who better than the larger-than-life duo to be the faces (and physiques) of our SIZES THAT MEASURE UP campaign? Bongi’s robustly built and Eben towers tall - together they exemplify peak performance in every size. As part of our extended sizing campaign, scores of fans and shoppers have been seeing how they measure up against the life-size cut-outs of the two-time World Cup-winning legends. But our team at Jonsson Workwear HQ got the opportunity in real life. On Friday 19 July, Springboks Eben Etzebeth and Bongi Mbonambi made an appearance at HQ in Durban, surprising the thrilled teams who had no clue their visit was in the works. What a way to kick off the weekend! The high-energy appearance saw delighted and excited staff meeting the legends, snapping pics, snapping up autographs, and of course… seeing how they measure up against the rugby giants. Robust. Hardworking. Reliable. When it comes to workwear that measures up, the formidable Bongi Mbonambi and Eben Etzebeth have met their match. With shirts that range from S-5XL, and trousers ranging from 28-54, our workwear is built strong for every build. Don’t miss your chance to see how you measure up against Eben and Bongi. Visit your nearest Jonsson Workwear store, stand tall next to the life-size cut-outs of the legends, and you could win a R10,000 Jonsson Workwear voucher. Competition ends 30 August 2024.

AFRICA’S BIG 7: A LOCAL CULINARY ADVENTURE Serving up inspiration at Africa’s largest annual food and beverage event Africa’s appetite for culinary adventures is growing. This recent flavour explosion has seen the premium food and beverage industry in Africa grow at a rapid pace and international exhibitions like Africa's Big 7 keep this appetite fuelled! Hosted by global exhibitions company DMG Events, Africa’s Big 7 is a well-established expo that brings the best in the business together. Here, suppliers and manufacturers like Jonsson Workwear have the opportunity to exhibit, inspire and connect with industry leaders across the food and beverage, décor and hospitality industries. Our inviting display was among 200 other prominent exhibitors who gathered under one roof at the Sandton Convention Centre from 11 to 13 June 2024 for the 21st edition of Africa’s Big 7. The welcoming team overseeing our stand was outfitted in a variety of Jonsson Workwear garments, demonstrating the versatility and performance of our workwear. We also had the opportunity to put our gear to work by outfitting key operational staff involved in running Africa’s Big 7, as well as two other expos taking place at the Convention Centre at the same time: SAITEX Africa and The Hotel & Hospitality Show. This allowed us to showcase the capabilities of our hardworking workwear solutions for peak performance across a range of roles.

INNIBOS ARTS FESTIVAL 2024 An entertainment spectacle with something for everyone At the end of June, Mbombela was more than the gateway to the Kruger National Park. Once again it played host to one of South Africa’s biggest festivals: the Innibos Arts Festival. This four-day spectacular stages some of SA’s most iconic names in Afrikaans entertainment, attracting visitors from all over the country. In anticipation of the Innibos Arts Festival which took place from 27-30 June 2024, our Jonsson Workwear Nelspruit kicked the festivities off the week before. To encourage locals to experience our Jonsson Workwear hospitality, our Nelspruit store hosted their Local is Lekker event on 22 June, where Innibos weekend tickets which are valued at R660, were available for R500 – an offer exclusive to Jonsson Workwear Nelspruit. Needless to say, the store was booming and tickets sold out in the blink of an eye. While the queue for tickets wrapped around the store, visitors and shoppers enjoyed the morning’s high-energy festivities – the braais were lit, the popcorn was popping, with fun and giveaways entertaining the many families who joined us. Fast-forward to the highly anticipated Innibos Arts Festival a week later, we got hands-on in true Jonsson Workwear style. We equipped the festival’s workforce with all the workwear and gear they need to run and host an event of this calibre in comfort and with confidence. And of course, our super striking VIZI Belt vehicle was on display throughout to play our part in spreading awareness around pedestrian road safety, while handing out our ultra-striking and super-handy VIZI Belts. From the Local is Lekker pre-event ticket sales, to supporting the Innibos Festival crew, we thoroughly enjoyed being involved in a proudly South African production of this magnitude.

We’re big believers in purpose. Our purpose at Jonsson Workwear is to equip hard workers to perform at their peak, and this is continually made possible by our committed teams across the business… the driving force behind our brand’s continued growth. To acknowledge and celebrate our exceptional people, every month select team members are invited to experience our Jonsson Workwear facilities first hand. Our most recent trip in June saw top-performing individuals enjoy an immersive visit to our manufacturing facilities, our Distribution Centre, and our Jonsson Workwear Edenvale location. Being part of this collaborative experience gives everyone a clearer view of how they – and others - contribute to the business, all while forging stronger connections that make us a more unified and purpose-driven team. A big well done to our June group for making the most of this opportunity – we look forward to hosting the next group of peak performers.

TULBAGH CHRISTMAS IN WINTER 2024 Our Jumper for Joy Joins the Festivities Christmas in July is celebrated in the southern hemisphere, where countries enjoy the frostier festivities that July brings. We saw Christmas in July as the perfect time to restock our shelves with the festive Jumper for Joy – the Christmas jersey that makes a difference by contributing to the life-changing work done by Reach For A Dream Foundation and The Jonsson Foundation. We also brought our festive jumpers to Tulbagh’s Christmas in Winter festival, where visitors could purchase a Jumper for Joy of their own, and in doing so, make a statement with the jersey that makes a difference. Christmas in Winter lit up Tulbagh from 28-30 June. Established in 2001, this much-loved event takes place every year, bringing three days of Christmas magic that turns Tulbagh’s Church Street into a winter wonderland. Jonsson Workwear contributed to the fun-filled festivities by sponsoring the highly anticipated Farmers’ Electric Light Parade, where local farmers delighted the community with a dazzling display of lights on their tractors. The title of the best-lit tractor went to winning team, Mount Rouge, who drove off a R10,000 Jonsson Workwear voucher – an excellent prize that is sure to equip Tulbagh’s hardworking farmers for any task and any conditions they may face this winter. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of Tulbagh’s mid-year celebrations. By sponsoring the Farmers' Electric Light Parade and making our Jumper for Joy available, we were able to play our part in spreading festive cheer while raising awareness for Reach For A Dream Foundation and The Jonsson Foundation. If you missed it this year, mark your calendars for Tulbagh’s Christmas in Winter next year. You can purchase your Jumper for Joy, at Jonsson Workwear stores nationwide, or online, with free shipping to anywhere within South Africa.
