Just last week, on Mandela Day in South Africa, our CEO, Bongani Sithole, took to the TEDxJohannesburg stage for his first-ever TEDx Talk titled, “A Delta of Change.” 🌍 Bongani delivered an inspiring and candid talk about Africa's potential to achieve SDG 8, drawing on his personal story and journey. He highlighted entrepreneurship as a powerful tool for creating sustainable and dignified jobs. "In the field of work I operate in, we spend resources across Africa looking for young people solving local problems in their communities. Anyone looking at the younger me back then would not have anticipated where I am today. True success lies in empowering our youth to think innovatively and strategically to close the gap between potential and reality," said Bongani to a captivated crowd at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). 🚀 Bongani ended his talk with a rallying call to action: 💸 To Investors: Shift your focus beyond established markets and invest in the vast opportunities with African entrepreneurs. 🛠️ To Policymakers: Empower the youth by crafting policies that nurture innovation and remove barriers, creating an environment where entrepreneurs can flourish. 😇 To Mentors: Share your wisdom and experience to guide the next generation of entrepreneurs.
