A new dawn begins: Labour has rightly recognised the potential of the video games industry to help kickstart the UK's economic recovery and to support our 'decade of national renewal'. We welcome the new Government's commitment to the Creative Sector Plan and we look forward to working with them to supercharge the future of the UK's video game and interactive entertainment industry. Our ambition is to bring our industry together in a spirit of unity and to work with the new Government to make this the most pro-video games Parliament in British History, positioning the UK as the place to develop the next generation of era-defining games. Ukie CEO heads to National Video Games Museum: Our CEO NIck Poole spent the day at with Cat Powell and John O'shea visiting the National Videogame Museum. It was a great opportunity to talk about areas of mutual interest and possible collaboration to celebrate and strengthen the UK video games and interactive entertainment industry. Wednesday 10th July: Heroic Labs, along with their partners at AWS, will be attending Develop Brighton 2024. They will be discussing the latest trends and challenges in the field, and how we can help you succeed. A meeting space will be set up where you can meet with their team, representatives from AWS, and other industry professionals, to learn more about the latest developments in game development and how you can leverage them to create better games.
