As the F1 season slowly draws to its close and the novelty of the 1st kiss activated trophy is tucked away in Verstappen's display cabinet, it is clear that this season we have witnessed an increasing influence of engineers, mathemeticians and technical folks to the F1 melting pot. The creativity these folks bring is and will be key to keeping the teams relevant, the sport exciting and ensuring the aficionados remain loyal.
