It is strong textured and highly weather-resistant. Although oak is extremely strong, it is good to carve. Oak is a very good wood for sculpting. Ash is distinguished by its creamy color and is difficult to chisel. It is considered one of the more valuable hardwoods, suitable for making wooden sculptures of different sizes. Basswood is a great wood for carving, characterized by pinkish white to pale yellow color and a few knots. Pine wood is also soft, but unlike basswood, with many knots.

This sculpture is created with different mediums. Firstly, the main part of the sculpture in made out of Red sandstone Secondly, the hammer and the chisel is made out of metal scrap, with the help of welding and grinding; and finally, the pedestal is made out of black marble slab. This sculpture is based on a concept of construction of a house or a building as you can see in sculpture the elements I have used in this artwork is a hammer, a chisel, door frame and bricks. As the basic tools in the process of any construction is hammer and chisel, that is the reason why I have used these elements to show the construction and this construction is not only for houses or buildings, this is also related to human beings. Structural concept is associated with buildings, bridges, dams, but not with sculpture. The Bronze Horseman is a statue of Peter the Great in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The statue opened in August 1782 and created by French sculptor Etienne Maurice Falconet. The combination of a cantilever structure and the dynamic form of the statue is interesting. I like to believe that the angle of the horse, the slope of the stone base, and the 3-point connections (horse legs and the tail) have a structural function as much as aesthetic function. The balance among the forces as intriguing as the artwork.
