Gaurav Munjal wants to save Unacademy by doing that very thing he once ‘hated’. Unacademy’s online business is just half of what it used to be. As its online business nosedived, it turned to offline coaching—something it once vowed never to touch. Now, offline is 50% of its business. Unacademy is making a transition from an edtech firm—which stuck to its playbook and scaled quickly—to a business whose offline services will take time to mature. Dear #Unacademy, If the reason you are deleting lectures is #legal and due to restrictions of contract ...then I allow you to keep my lectures for one more year. I don't want any monetary benefit. The lectures I took are really premium in quality and deleting them will waste so much effort Unacademy team and Educators took. PS: Their contract allows them to keep the lectures only for some period after the educator leaves them. PPS: Unable to tag Unacademy team members because they are not working in Unacademy Online vertical. PPPS: Sending an official email request as well to Unacademy. Note that this post is NOT criticising Unacademy. My online experience was really good there. It's a request. #JEE #NEET

Unacademy is trying not to end up like BYJUs. But looks like it might because: 1. Don’t have results needed for a successful offline coaching business 2. Online coaching seems to be dead / dying. 3. Looking for someone to acquire them or merge with, but no one seems to be interested. I used to think Unacademy’s marketing was amazing with things like Kota Factory, Aspirants etc. But again, just like BYJUs, it seems like it was only about the marketing. I still remember when I decided to do something new and big, but I was very new to this field and didn't know anything about the examination structure and results. I just followed a YouTube faculty, and they were amazing. I knew my math was strong, but what about the other subjects? Many people helped me. full-day classes became a routine. It felt like a task when there was no class; those days felt so empty. We all had a lot of fun together, like a family. Everyone was like a classmate—some were false friend , and a best friend . But over time, everything changed. nothing is permanent. Time passed, the entire class moved on, but as humans, we always learn new things. That's the goal of life. I heard somewhere that growth and patience are the signs of a living person. So now, everything has changed, and I try to learn new things for a bright future. Everyone experiences this in life—when we were young, school, classes, Greeting cards and school bags were everything. But we couldn't stop time, and eventually, everything changed. Our priorities shifted, making us stronger and harder, preparing us to enter a new world that welcomes us. I'm so happy to share with you a picture of my Unacademy class. It wasn't just a class; it was an emotion, a feeling that connected me. I know there might have been some shortcomings that I couldn't fulfill earlier, but I'll try to complete them in the future. Looking back, I realize how much I’ve grown and evolved through this journey. The challenges I faced taught me resilience, and the friendships I made brought joy and support. Each class, each interaction, was a stepping stone towards my goal. I remember the late-night study sessions, the group discussions, and the collective anxiety before exams. These experiences have shaped me into who I am today.  As I move forward, I carry with me the memories and lessons from this phase of my life. They remind me that with determination and the right support, anything is possible. Here's to embracing change, striving for excellence, and looking forward to new adventures. Two Months at Vedantu: The Adventure So Far! 😊 Guess what? I've hit the two-month mark as a Class Teacher at Vedantu, and what a ride it's been! From the highs of great feedback to the challenges of keeping up with KPIs, here are some of the fun (and sometimes funny) things I’ve learned along the way: 1. Meeting Company Expectations : It’s like a game where the difficulty level keeps increasing, but hey, I’m up for the challenge! 🕹️ Learning to meet Vedantu's high standards has been both tough and rewarding. 2. KPIs and All That Jazz: I used to think KPI was a new kind of sandwich 🥪, but now I know it's all about performance metrics. Understanding these indicators has turned me into a performance-tracking ninja! 3. Maintaining Good Ratings: Think of it as trying to keep a five-star rating on Uber, but instead of driving, I'm teaching. 🚗📚 Keeping those high ratings is a constant hustle, but seeing the positive feedback makes it all worth it. 4. The Mentor Magic: Working under a mentor is like having a cheat code for professional growth. 🎮 Their guidance has been priceless in helping me level up my teaching game. 5. Team Meetings: Picture this: a bunch of passionate educators brainstorming and sharing ideas like there’s no tomorrow. These collaborative meetings are like creative potlucks where everyone brings something valuable to the table. 🍲💡 6. Getting into the Corporate Groove: Adapting to the corporate world has been an adventure in itself. From mastering the art of professional emails to navigating virtual meetings without accidentally unmuting myself – it’s all part of the fun. 💼😂 I’m grateful for this fantastic opportunity and excited for what’s next. Huge shoutout to my amazing colleagues and the incredible students who make this journey worthwhile.
