While Veterans Day in November is a special time to honor those who have served our country, at Trashco Inc., we believe in showing our gratitude all year long. Why limit our appreciation to just one day? Here are some simple, impactful ways we can honor our veterans every day: Support Veteran Businesses: Choose services and products from businesses owned by veterans. It not only helps them but also promotes the spirit of entrepreneurship among our heroes. Volunteer: Give your time to local veterans' shelters or organizations. These acts of service not only provide tangible help but also show our veterans they are never forgotten. Educate and Engage: Take time to learn about the challenges veterans face and engage in community discussions to foster awareness and solutions. Employment Opportunities: We strive to support veterans by considering them in our hiring processes, recognizing the unique skills and perspectives they bring to our workforce. Simply Say Thank You: A simple gesture of gratitude can go a long way. Whether it’s a handshake or a heartfelt note, thanking a veteran personally makes a difference. At Trashco, we are committed to these practices not just because it’s respectful but because it’s right. We stand with our veterans today and every day. Join us in making every day a day to honor our veterans. #VeteransEveryday #HonorAndServe #TrashcoCares

#ruffaroundtheedges - FITTING IN - Part 49 Ruffaroundtheedges and continuing to weave all the themes together over the last year that I have explored and have been able to capitalize upon with the help from Leanne Kinde, and this interesting reflection that Leanne brought to my attention. I intend that often I am helping people who do not seem to fit in or maybe a little misfit in their prior careers or prior thinking. And that goes further to talk about when I look at a problem or situation. I come at it from a “no box thinking” point of view or, you know, how do the misfits fit into something that fits? You see “out of the box” is structured by the box, no boxes mean no limitations in your thinking. Jumbled words there, but, hopefully, you get my drift. A part of my legacy is helping people who may be unable to fit in to fit in or figure out where they belong. As happened to me, I had to move continents to figure out where I belonged, and how I fit in, and I belong in the USA, no questions asked. https://lnkd.in/geJFWK7i #theguyintheblueshirt wonders do you have any examples of not "fitting in"?

Brilliant play by Uber Eats. This 'ad for an ad' is more than a teaser campaign, and it's super smart. Creative aside (which I love), this current activity massively increases the on-air period of their campaign and reaches additional audiences within different channels versus what the Superbowl ad will reach, whilst also building that anticipation for the big day. Feels like a 90 yard punt return for touchdown! Nice one Uber. (I wonder what brands have planned for the FA Cup final!!!) #marketingcampaigns #marketing #advertising #strategy #superbowl
Aside from Jessica Aniston, and these two, can you guess who else is in our #SuperBowlLVIII spot? 🏈 #UberEats

Reshaping the online presence of the brands transforming our world | Digital, Influencer & Social Specialist @Brands2Life
From Prime Time to Meme Time! The Uber Superbowl teaser is a masterclass in jumping on a meme. It's all about relatable humour. By embracing the quirky meme world, Uber has struck gold. Using David and Victoria Beckham, known for their polished personas, they're now taking the laugh along with us, not at us. This isn’t just humour for humour's sake - it's a clever psychological play. 🧠 Memes, by nature, are a shared language in the digital community, creating an instant connection with the audience. It's like being part of an inside joke that the whole internet is in on. Uber Eats isn't just selling a service; they're crafting an experience that resonates. It shows in the buzz and coverage this ad has already generated – they're not just gearing up for Superbowl success; they're becoming a part of our social conversation. So, hats off to Uber for not just delivering food but also a fresh, meme-orable approach to marketing. #MarketingPsychology #AuthenticContent #SuperbowlMarketing

When political hopefuls answer direct questions, they are of the people. The currect crop of smarmy dodgers aren't fooling anyone. I always advise any people to do what is within their direct interests and I have been a human algorithm of us for the past decade, which is why I know we won't. However, this is what our interests look like. It's just a shame we as a people don't realise that power isn't numeric, it's centralised. There only 246K Jews in the UK but they've centralised their power through the Board of Jewish Deputies and numerous institutions. However, they're aligned by code born from partaking in bar mitzvah and tradition. We by way of the Census of England & Wales are 2,456,549 African, African-Caribbean and mixed heritage people in the UK (and we didn't all fill in the census). However, like with the Tower of Babel, we're all babbling 🤷🏿 Power isn't numeric, that's not how you effect the political system and your David Lammys won't tell you that, it's by business owners, advocates, political hopefuls and influential people centralising their own power through ethnic aggregation. Ethnic aggregation makes "Black British" people uncomfortable infront of others, who scorn us for thinking it but practice it perfectly. Every Party field a Bangladeshi candidate in Tower Hamlet's...why? To win at chess isn't to know the moves alone, it's to understand that we are equal (Black & White), it's only our opponents understanding of the game which is his advantage and our lack of understanding, which is our disadvantage. In any case, do as though wilt but Natalie Campbell MBE is what our Mayoral interests look like. 🙏🏿

With 9 days to go…the media has woken up. I genuinely believe I have been blocked from hustings by the current Mayor’s team because I’m a threat, he didn’t want to face any real competition or show how lacking his campaign is against real honesty, passion and commitment. Some people *chose* to comply. The silence from organisations and sectors I’m actively championing and endorsing is interesting too. But it’s hard to stop a good thing. Onwards… #TeamCampbell #IndependentCandidate #Vote #MayorofLondon

Well, I’m running a little behind, but what a year this has been. My 1st anniversary at Allies was 2/15/24. I’ve worked in mortgages for over 22 years. A short time at a title company researching title properties & a short time working as a transaction coordinator for a residential real estate agent. I went to college to be a Paralegal & real estate was part of my studies. During my studies, I said I would never get into real estate. I did not like it at all. Well, never say never because God had other plans & that’s exactly where I ended up. Unfortunately, the mortgage industry is not a very stable career to be in. When rates are down, there are jobs everywhere & everyone wants to give you a loan. But, when rates go up, then there's the possibility of layoffs, broker shops closing, mortgage companies going bankrupt, people being out of a job & some people even losing their homes. It’s a rough industry to work in. For me, I had become tired. Tired of being laid off every 3 to 5 years. Every time the rates would go up, my job would be in jeopardy. I needed a career change. Something more stable. I needed to be somewhere where I could dig myself in & grow some roots where I could grow & flourish. I needed God to move some mountains for me, so I spent a lot of time on my knees in prayer. That’s when God laid Allies Commercial Realty in my lap. It was for the position of transaction coordinator. I thought, well it’s still in the same industry I’ve been working in, sort of. So, I applied. I didn’t think it would be much more different than residential. The interview went GREAT! I felt a connection with both Adam & Claudia. By the end of the interview, the job offer was for transaction coordinator/office manager. By the next day, I was extended the offer & I gratefully accepted. After a few days on the job, the job title blossomed into that of the operations manager. Something completely out of my comfort zone, but something Adam & Claudia thought I would be perfect for. Then a few weeks later they proceeded to tell me about the new business they were starting, a private office & co-working business, they wanted me to be the operations manager of that as well. WOW, can you imagine the wave of emotions that flowed over me the next few days processing that! Their faith & trust in me was overwhelming & meant the world to me. God has blessed me more than words could ever speak. So, here we are a year later & I’ve been learning the business for commercial real estate, the business for private offices & co-working, & QuickBooks for both companies, I got to be a part of naming Brandnook & remodeling the building where Allies Commercial Realty & Brandnook reside. This year has been a wild ride, to say the least. It's been amazing, stressful, fun, & an incredibly fast year. My head is still swimming. But, I can’t wait to see what God has in store for this next year & the years to come. Here’s to the future! Let’s go, God, lead the way!
Today we are celebrating Kyleene's one year of dedication at Allies! Her commitment and vibrant energy have truly enriched our team. We're beyond grateful to have her with us and thank you for all that you do. Here's to many more years of success and collaboration! #TeamAllies #WorkAnniversary #Gratitude
