Hybrid working after probation As a Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the optimal allocation of vessel space across multiple routes and markets in Europe. You will use your advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and your familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Teams, to handle large and complex datasets from various sources. You will also communicate effectively with internal and external customers, as well as our partner lines, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.You will also need to demonstrate your forward planning abilities, as you will have to anticipate and respond to changing situations and opportunities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will analyse and recommend the best course of action for each vessel, balancing the needs and expectations of different stakeholders. You will also coordinate the loading and transhipment of containers and generate daily reports using enterprise and external systems. To succeed in this role, you will need the following key skills and responsibilities:• Data Handling: You will be able to draw and manipulate large amounts of data from multiple sources to accurately adjust volumes and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.• Forward Planning: You will be able to plan accurately and effectively for a wide range of possible outcomes and provide analysis and recommendations to our Commercial teams. You will be responsible for the performance of several vessels at any one time as they pass through their European rotation. You will need skills to manage multiple plans, massaging volumes between vessels where possible and highlighting areas of under or over performance for necessary actions to be taken.• Communication: You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to absorb and disseminate information to and from multiple sources both internally and externally across a wide array of countries.
