Terabase Energy’s Post

Terabase Energy reposted this

Great to see the NYT feature the importance of robotics such as the Terafab system in driving the solar industry forward. Software and robotics will be the key to scale PV to the Terawatt level of annual deployments while continuing to drive cost reductions. And we are excited to have recently commenced our third Terafab project where the benefits and future potential of automation are clear. As an industry we need to accelerate the transformation of solar project deployments!

This should result in some installation, spacing, land use, land prep standards which can be replicated project after project, enhancing your capabilities, reducing your downtime, improving your efficiencies and will aid in the design of very robust robotics. This is a perfect example of how to automate projects which do not need to be so human labor intensive. Especially in less hospitable environments like the solar panel projects in the Mojave. This is also very comparable to what's happening in #agtech with companies like Monarch Tractor, serving a similar purpose.

Exciting to see robotics like Terafab gaining recognition in solar! Automation is clearly key to scaling up PV deployments and cutting costs. It's great that you're already on your third Terafab project - the future looks bright for solar! How do you envision robotics changing the solar industry landscape in the next 5-10 years? #SolarAutomation #RenewableEnergy #CleanTechInnovation
