Content writer making Much Ado About You® • Learn to Brag Your Butt Off... Without Being a Pain in the A**
Throwback Saturday: The naked truth about collecting bunny centerfolds…👇 Yesterday, Roger A. Reed posted about his marble collection and the idea of “Frivolous Friday” posts about silly stuff. It had me pondering… ✅ Why do we collect? ✅ How do we choose what to collect? ✅ And the BIG question… what’s the end game for the collection? Toss, sell, or leave it to the kids to figure it out? I’m not much of a collector. 🧶 I collect yarn (and make stuff). 🍪 I collect cookie recipes (and again, make stuff). When my parents got married, Mom bought Daddy a subscription to a new men’s magazine: Playboy. More of a joke than anything else, and yet… It turned out the writing was exceptional, and there were funny jokes, clever cartoons, and fabulous interviews. The subscription was renewed annually on their anniversary. He never tossed an issue. His collection was boxed by year, each issue carefully protected in a labeled plastic sleeve, and stored in cool, dry places (such as his office closet, pictured). After he died in 2015, we faced question 3 above: what to do with 60 years of magazines? No family member had the room or desire for all of it, and the disposal project was assigned to me. Fortunately, I found a collector/dealer just a (bunny) hop, skip, and jump away who would take the entire collection off my hands. I had no Plan B, so was happy to trade each bunny for money. [I did not want to get in trouble with the LinkedIn censors, so no centerfolds here, just boxes 🤣] 👉 👉 👉 Are you a collector, and do you have an end game? #BestAdvice #WhatInspiresMe #GettingThingsDone

If you’ve had the luck, you’ve probably been in one of those companies that have weekly panic meetings. You know the SOS meetings seniors hold after getting loads of complaints. The ones where they declare - ✨it’s all gonna change ✨ Spoiler alert - it never does ✨it’s a tough few months and then it’s smooth sailing.✨ Spoiler alert - there are no other kinds of months available ✨reinforcements are coming✨ Spoiler alert - no, my sweet summer child, how did you get dumber child? All that’s coming is a migraine. ✨you need to be more proactive✨ Spoiler alert - they’d tie both your arms behind your back, put a knife into your mouth and send you into a gun fight - then they’d ask you why you didn’t win. ✨Given the imaginary information we’ve given you, please make a plan.” ✨ Spoiler alert - they’re asking you to kill yourself with overwork and figure “it out”, cos they can’t figure it out themselves. Also if you look around, nobody of any talent, repute, calibre sticks around. Everyone’s all faff. If this sounds all too familiar. Baby, run. Your boss may be a delight. A fright. Whatever. But a company is run on vision. A vision is made by visionaries. And when people who run the place don’t look beyond numbers and can’t put together words, make sure you don’t give them the power to pick your life apart. Just like there are other fish in the sea? There are wonderful places to be.

Expertise He does 20 minutes morning bird watching. In pitch black darkness, he caught a bat in my bedroom. He greets me with a bend back, raised tail and a sound of his own. His sleeping spot Is personal preference. Neighborhoods top hunter and attracts attention and care from the lot. Anticipates time. Waiting at the bowl. He knows the sound of my car. Claims the highest perch and approach the unfamiliar with curiosity. Favors sunlit spots and the quietest places for uninterrupted sleep. Maintains a well-groomed coat that demands admiration. He allows selectively petting. Brings me his pray. New toys or a relocation – no questions asked. A master of new tricks - knows every corner in his world. ------------------------------------------------ I am not an expert on expertise. David C. Baker is. If my posts are encouraging, controversial, or uncomfortable to you, you’re either a responsible thinker, or so opened minded your brain fell out. Thank God for America and the right to free speech on all sides!🇺🇸😇😉
There's an old Italian proverb that says, "Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see." The older I get, the more truth I see in that simple statement. If you love or hate Mike Lindell, you need to ask yourself why and check out this interview: https://lnkd.in/giGQwZiU Are you believing truth or lies? Is it really your own opinion, or one masterfully crafted by the media and deep state? Products alone, MyPillow.com/Remarkable has some of the absolute best sheets, mattress toppers, pillows, slippers, and towels I've personally ever used. With promo code "REMARKABLE" you save up to 80% off all of these extraordinary products. Why wouldn't you buy them? 🤔 And if what you think about Mike is true, have you researched it, or just followed the narrative? Bigger question. Are you holding all companies you shop from to the same standards as MyPillow? Do you actually research and only buy from companies that line up with your belief system? Probably not. Look around your house and check out the last 30 days of your credit card receipts. Bet there is a lot of money going to truly evil companies with anti-God agendas. So why such a hate and ban on Mike for standing up for what he believes even if you don't? #mypillow #mikelindell #truth #italianproverb

Carry the Calf **every day and you’ll be able to** Carry the Cow ! That’s what my dad told us kids when we were little. He said pick up that baby calf carry her to the pond and back. Then, if you do that every day, you’ll be able to carry her when she grows into a cow. Now that’s a pretty outlandish thing to say. But as little kids, we would ponder us doing it. We could carry that calf for sure. Well, of course we didn’t do that and it wouldn’t really be possible. However, as always with Daddy❤️’s talks with us, there was a moral to the story. Basically, if you start out doing small things and keep working at it, you will be able to do much larger things. This applies to whatever you’re doing in life. Whether it’s writing online, starting a small business, or what you really want to do in life. You may have to start small, a few steps at a time. However, if you just keep doing it every day, you will certainly get to the bigger point that you’re aiming to hit. So Go For It and Don’t Stop!!
