According to a recent report, Indore's IT organisations are experiencing a shift, with 25% of work moving to the Philippines due to the significant cost advantage of 40% less expensive manpower. Currently, Indore has more than 500 organisations of different segments like IT, BPO, startups, and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services), with a collective turnover of 8,000 crore serving more than 50 thousand jobs. How can these jobs be safeguarded? → Exploring automation and emerging AI technologies → Collaborating directly with the international counterpart → Focusing on delivering high-quality work → Continuous skill enhancement I believe this isn’t a threat to the industry but a sign of enhancing productivity to a global extent.
