So am I biased because of my Mandiant (part of Google Cloud) roots? Guilty as charged. Am I excited for this partnership with Rubrik and Mandiant? Oh am I--we get to combine tech that works in a crisis with incredible experts working the breaches that matter. The announcement of the partnership between Rubrik and Mandiant (part of Google Cloud) is huge and it's not just marketing, it's game changing. Here's why.. With it, Rubrik becomes the world's first enterprise backup provider to fully integrate continous IOC scanning of all existing and new backups using Mandiant Threat Intelligence. Backup every 4 hours? Then every 4 hours that server is scanned for the latest IOCs. It's that simple. Make it a VM and it's completely agentless too! What does this mean to you and your business? If you have Mandiant on IR retainer and Rubrik for backup, all your data is immutable, survivable, and is already scanned based on their latest IOCs reducing your cyber RTO and downtime.
