Skilled banega India tabhi to aage badhega India !! Its very disturbing to see this kind of events where for 10 job postions, hundreds appeared and created stampede like situation. On one hand we keep hearing from entreprenurs from the sectors like manufacturing, automation etc and even in BFSI sector where there is struggle to recruit right fit as scarcity of skilled manpower, lack of willingness to work on ground and then we come across this situation. Our MSME sector is growing with Its very important to work on upgrading the skills and mindset of workforce as there is no dearth of Jobs but skillset and willingness to work on ground, in industrial areas which may not provide fancy glass facade buildings and comfortable environment like in IT companies but an opportunity to learn and make a rewarding career. #msmes #msmeindia #jobs #employement #skillindia #enterpreneurship Findestination

🧱 The Brick by Brick Guy 🧱 | Global Head of Operational Excellence @ DXC | GCC Captive and Global Operations Transformation Leader ✅
Life is made and altered in moments. Would our lives be different if we showed the courage to follow what we think like? We will never know. And should not bother. When younger, we often confuse our likes, passion, and actual skills. Truth is, we don't know nothing. It was May/June 1994. I was back in Delhi, my home, after completing my Engineering course from Nagpur University. I was among the three students who got a placement offer. We had a job. Any job. Salary? 2500 INR pm. All good, Anshuman. What was the issue then? Issue was, I did not want to work in Nagpur. I wanted to work in Delhi and live with my parents. My family. I never wanted to work for a Textile manufacturing unit but the only Job I had in hand was with Raymond Textile Company. 😂 So much so for likes and passion. I know some of you are thinking, beggars can't be choosers. I would agree. I was all set to chill and then look for a job in Delhi. And then one day, without any warning or warmup, my father Govind Sharan, asked me: "So when are you going to Nagpur? What is your joining date?" I remember that moment well. I had expected the question and knew my answer. But when he looked at me and asked the question, I forgot my answer. I did not have the courage to say, I didn't want to work in Nagpur. And so my train tickets were booked to join work on 1 July 1994. Life is made and altered in moments. Not joining the only job I had was not an option. And that was it. This topic has never been discussed in the 30 years since it happened. And has my life been better or worse for it? We won't know and we don't need not know. So pick the option that is best for you and give it your all. I did and haven't done badly. Have I? Life is what you make of it. ==== Photo context. This is how life pans out. A horizon. A long road. A calm sea. A turbulent sea. Sunrise. Sunset. Your roots (there is a photo in there of my village). And a victorious you. Photo credit: All pics except the last one taken by me :)

Like any other aspirant, I had hoped to work with a big MNC, and in that hope I went on to give interviews in various sectors. And one of the bigger names amongst them was Jindal Stainless . After clearing the first two rounds they had called me to Gurgaon for the final one to one meeting, but things didn’t work out due to untold reasons (location might be one, prior experience might one one). But what caught my attention was the lack of professionalism by their HR Team. First they call me for an opening in Gurgaon location, then during the interview they ask me if I can relocate to Bihar. Second, one of the HR’s Mr Ayush, who was present at the interview, offered me to file for reimbursement of the travel expenses, which I did. But it’s been over 3 months, the reimbursement is still pending. His inability to answer any calls or reply to any emails makes me wonder, how professional he is, or is it culture of the company? Is it just Jindal Stainless or is every other company like this? Why can’t people be blunt about things and say no stating a reason, instead of beating around the bush?

Gujarat in India is doing well off. But, it too, does not create enough jobs. 1,800 people applying for 10 jobs! Not just applying. Actually standing outside https://lnkd.in/dFwPS9Ps " Railing Collapses As 1,800 Aspirants Turn Up For 10 Jobs In Gujarat Hundreds gathered, jostling to make their way inside the venue and the crowd was so dense that it pushed against a steel railing hard enough to make it give way, taking several people down with it. All this was to get inside and give an interview for a grand total of 10 jobs at a private company in Gujarat's Bharuch." Here is the response of the Member of Parliament from the place. Just shifting the blame aound. "The MP from Bharuch, Mansukh Vasava, who is from the BJP, said the district is a mini India and people from all over the country go there to live and work. Blaming the company for the incident, he said in Hindi, "They were filling up only 10 vacancies and should have specified the criteria properly instead of just holding an open interview. At some level, the incident occurred because of the company. We are worried about it and steps are being taken to ensure such incidents don't happen again."

"Determination gets you a long way." Meet Rajat from Odisha, a true inspiration! After completing his ITI in Electrical, Rajat hustled to find a job opportunity that would help him sustain, meanwhile taking up electrical contract jobs and supporting his father in carpentry. Rajat knocked many doors looking for a well-paying job opportunity. It was through a friend that Rajat found a life-changing opportunity in Bangalore with one of India's fastest-growing Facility Management organizations as an electrician. Rajat took a leap of faith, moving from Kendrapara district in Odisha to Bangalore. When I was asked him the highlight of his professional journey, Rajat was quick to respond - "I still remember the joy in my father's voice when he received 8000 rupees that I sent home from my first salary". Today I save 8-10K every month and send it home which is a great support for my family. In the conversation, Rajat told me - "Jab kaam ke beech me kuch samay hota hai tab hum, jiss society me hum work karte hai, vahan ke logon ke liye - pani filter karne ka dekh lete hai ya society ke paudhon ko pani daal dete hai." His strong work ethic and commitment to his work truly touched a chord. At apna, one of the unwritten commandment is - evaluating everything we do - with impact created. Rajat's story serves as a powerful reminder that perseverance, coupled with the right opportunities, can transform dreams into reality. #HustlersofApna #AcceleratingIndia

Dear Mr. Raghunathan K E Further to your post https://lnkd.in/g3dtFp9p 1. There are new technologies and innovations being introduced in minimising the human interference and making things much easier and productive however sewing operations are always a human skill dependent as every style would be unique and it has to be sewn according to the design hence other than core product manufacturing fashion products need human intervention to a larger extend, when we talk about economic viability of modernisation to the current level one has to understand the dynamics on the longer run, we are far away from man machine ratio than our main competitors like Bangladesh and Vietnam, hence switching to modern technologies though it is capex intensive on a longer run helps the factories to stay in business, cost effectiveness is co-related with productivity. Need to adapt to the changes and have to consistently invest a part of earnings to adapt to the day to day changes. 2. As I already mentioned above apart from external factors such as government policies , economic slow down our man machine ratio and productivity relative to the machines installed left us costly when compared to our competitive nations hence we are already losing in production and further losses are happening those factory’s understands this fact started exploring avenues to straighten this issue to stay in business those who don’t realise would naturally exit on a shorter date 3. Of course migration started to happen factories are moving within the state, within the country and even crossed continents however the unique eco system of tiruppur cannot be replicated elsewhere hence there is a struggle to succeed in such operations but this would be short lived as already people started exploring the gaps and started bridging the same 4. Not only in Tiruppur in any business one who has a longer vision , growth plans, spending a specific amount on new innovations and modernisation, going with the flow of the customers requirement did make profits, showing YoY growth and stays in the business nevertheless external factors like fundamental changes in government policies did affected their profit margins Sir it’s high time to introspect as an industry , as a state with major MSME presence, as a country with larger MSME that provides huge employment next to agriculture that too for a country like ours with dense population and when the developed economies wants to change their sourcing destination from China Let’s hope for the best #msme #tiruppurknitwear #msmeskills
Huge Demand vs Supply gap emerging in Unskilled/ semi skilled segment in TN. The chances of getting Employees are very bleek at this stage. The question in front of Tiruppur Owners are: 1. How will you replace manpower with machines? Possibilities and economic viability. 2. What is the expected production loss if this is not met? 3. Will they migrate to a place where labour is available or even to a country? 4. What are the % of entrepreneurs who are making profit in the last 3 years in Tiruppur? These are the impact questions. TIME TO ADDRESS ON TOP MOST PRIORITY https://lnkd.in/g9rbz_G4 MK Stalin Kumar Duraiswamy Indian Administrative Service (IAS) - Government of India Press Trust of India (PTI) Narendra Modi Dr. TRB Rajaa #employment #jobs #vacancy #Tiruppur

2moBecause today's generation is not moving towards right education or skill set but they are more motivated towards easy work and easy routine without being targeted and scolded for its non achievement. Second reason is increasing population and increasing technology in every field which is decreasing human intervention at all levels so jobs are decreasing day by day...
