This study constructs a relationship model between the interactive quality of opinion leaders and the brand value of the platform in the Web 2.0 era, explores the impact of opinion leaders’ interaction quality (IQ) on #platform_brand_value from the perspective of #prosumption and examines the mediating effect of #customer_engagement and the moderating effect of prosumers capability (PC).

It always pays to know what is happening in your industry and how it is changing, and to watch your competitors, especially the ones bigger than you, and other companies in the industry. That will tell you that it is time to change and to change before you are forced to. The article is a little dated, but knowledge and advice is often timeless.

After a semester full of analyzing consumer data, connecting the consumer truth to the brand truth, and creating concrete, actionable recommendations, my Management of Strategic Communication team got to present what we found about fairlife, LLC Core Power. The results? Fairlife should position Core Power as a goal-fitting, protein-filled sweet treat. At the beginning of our 14-week project, we were tasked with creating a series of communications recommendations to entice our target audience to try Core Power. We dove in, starting with a situation analysis, then conducting secondary research, interviewing participants one-on-one, and discovering our consumers' journey to the holy grail of chocolate protein drinks: Core Power (if you know, you know). Altogether, we zeroed in on a narrower target, discovered the patterns of our "Health-Life Balancers," and established recommendations based on our findings. I learned so much this semester about connecting consumer motivations and data to tangible objectives and actions. Thank you Jamie Flink for guiding us through this process, and thanks to my team for a great semester!

How to Triumph Like a Girl by Ada Limon, our 2022 Poet Laureate I like the lady horses best, how they make it all look easy, like running 40 miles per hour is as fun as taking a nap, or grass. I like their lady horse swagger, after winning. Ears up, girls, ears up! But mainly, let’s be honest, I like that they’re ladies. As if this big dangerous animal is also a part of me, that somewhere inside the delicate skin of my body, there pumps an 8-pound female horse heart, giant with power, heavy with blood. Don’t you want to believe it? Don’t you want to lift my shirt and see the huge beating genius machine that thinks, no, it knows, it’s going to come in first. Are you following Pitch Marketing ?

Whether it’s where to go to dinner, which dishwasher to buy, or helping a child choose what to wear… If we’re presented with “How about this?” vs. “How about this or that?” it makes a big difference in our likelihood of reaching a decision. We like choice. So… as I think about how this relates to our business in particular, it’s always important to ensure we help clients understand their options and present them in clear and understandable ways. So often, it feels like giving advice means offering one solution, but our minds are wired to want to balance the pros and cons of having options.
