I think we’ll see quantum computers sooner, companies like IBM, Google and Microsoft have developed working prototype. By 2026, IBM plans to build a quantum computer with over 1,000 quibits. Google claims to have achieved ‘quantum supremacy’ demonstrating that their new QC can solve mathematical problems infinitely faster than an everyday device like their Chromebook and way faster than NASA super computers. Given the pace of the industry and determination of the minds working in this flied, I am sure we’ll see working mainframe quantum computer by 2030 latest. One question we should be asking is: When will we see personal quantum computers? Like a quantum laptop 🧐
