❗ ❗ ❗ 🎐 🔔 EXCITED Announcement 🔔 🎐 ❗ ❗ ❗ As I take a breather from what's next, whether to continue in Corporate America, go back into the startup and tech world, or choose a new path, I have decided to join forces with one of my longest mentors and a friend for over twenty years, Larry Burns at The Proper Group. For those who know me, I cannot-not work...it's just not in my DNA. So moving forward, I will work directly with Larry on growing The Proper Group leveraging my marketing, communications, and strategic background to help our partners grow their businesses. Something that Larry and I are very passionate about. I am also excited to learn and get to know our colleague Caitlin Cruickshank! I first met Larry twenty years ago while I was his student during my undergrad days. We bonded during the class, and I ended up interning for him for multiple departments, which he oversaw, as was the head of the External arm and Senior Vice President at UT, running enrollment, Marketing, Communication, Community Relations, and the Foundations. We later got to do many cool things when I was elected Student Body President and worked hard to develop The Dorr Street Development and other groundbreaking advancements at the university. Larry did the same at other institutions, later pivoting to becoming the President and CEO of the Children's Foundation based in Detroit, Michigan, where he transformed the foundation to become one of the premier philanthropic groups in the nation. Although I went into corporate America, Larry continued to be my mentor, reference, and life adviser through the years, and we have stayed cheerleaders for each other through the years. I couldn't be more excited to get to work again and learn from such a renowned business leader, friend, and someone I have looked up to and have aspired to be like. We have many opportunities around the corner, and I am excited to roll up my sleeves and get this party started! I will have a lot more information in the coming days, weeks, and month...but we are open for business and want to help your organization build alignment for growth.
