Last week we responded to the global IT outage with some quick and effective marketing, reminding people that our branches were still open and serving customers right across the country. ‘We’re down … the road’ highlighted the importance of face-to-face services and the fantastic work of our Postmasters serving every community. It's also a reminder of how important cash is, our branches saw an increase in cash withdrawals vs the previous week and the last few days have seen the latest stats showing 1.5million people mainly using cash for day-to-day spending, at a four-year high. #Banking #Community #Retail

Did you penalise or prosecute any postmasters on the day too? Or do you keep that quiet ? Post Office is a shameless organisation who punishes its own staff to ‘Protect the Brand’
Do the Post office not see the irony ???? The last big IT issue they had put postmasters in jail and ruined lives. I would not be boasting about how great a job they have done when the key protagonists still have not come clean on the whole debacle from last time.
