3wPerplexity is doing great with its LLMs focused on delivering helpful, up-to-date, and factual responses. PPLX LLM models address the limitations of existing LLMs by leveraging knowledge from the internet, enabling real-time answers to time-sensitive queries, and allowing capabilities beyond existing current mainstream models (think of when GPT mentions it can only answer questions before April 2023) Perplexity solves this use case and allows technical and non-technical users to build "AI agents" with capabilities to scrape data from the web in a fast and low latency response. Perplexity also allows developers to build on top of its model by invoking its API. The partnership with #Bedrock will enable organizations to build serverless lambda functions which will allow significant cost savings across GenAI use cases by using an alternative to deploying Machine Learning inferences that cost per minute verses using Bedrock that will allow "pay for what you use".
