This is where we can start drawing meaning out of "freedom and encouragement" in the early teens or pre teens. Certain areas of our cognitive brain undergo massive changes through these years wherein if we are encouraged in the direction we are interested in, the creative calibre massively shoots. However, if not catered to properly or nurtured, it can begin to rot or become undermined. In our society, we come across thousands of examples wherein kids steer in the opposite direction from their parents and the resulting clashes lead to tense/unproductive parent-child equations. What parents fail to recognize here is that their need to see a part of themselves in their child is the exact glitch in the thought process. It’s the end …. I would like to give a special thanks to Cécilia Nehou and Virginie Bouvier for giving me the chance to join Baby Dior and a special thanks to the amazing team I had 😊😊. Completing my final year internship at Baby Dior (a business unit of Christian Dior Couture ) was an amazing experience for me. As a sales administration trainee, I was in relation with almost all the departments notably the supply and logistics department, the quality and compliance department etc.. Some of my mission were as follows: -tracking of the turnover on the wholesale zone, preparation of orders on the software, control of customs documents and other diversed missions. The thing I will remember the most about my internship was the autonomy I was offered, I really felt like a value member to my team. I was able to develop many skills such as self confidence, being proactive, improved my communication skills which will be beneficial to me in the pursuit of my professional endeavors. The internship also allowed me to face unexpected events and I had to learn how to manage them. Further, the internship allowed me to understand what it is like to work in a large publicly and prestigious company, it’s process and methods, as well as its standards. I was able to improve my soft and hard skills 😊😊😊. I will remember fondly the diversity of tasks to be carried out each time and realized the importance of a good atmosphere in a team which allows to work in a good working condition. One thing Iwould like to say is, when you want to achieve something, go for it, don’t be afraid. To be honest, when I applied for an internship at Baby Dior, I was afraid I wouldn’t be qualified enough and wouldn’t be able to do the job, but in the end Baby Dior knows how to welcome you and how to nurture your capabilities. I had a unique experience which I would like to recommend to any student. Be yourself, be confident and take the chance.
