What are three big mistakes of high-net-worth investors? High net worth individuals that underestimate wealth protection's complexity can be subject to the following missteps: 1)    Overly conservative approach: By focusing on asset preservation, they can miss out on growth opportunities and not fulfill their goals of charitable giving or legacy for future generations. 2)    Not diversifying their assets: this can include concentrations in real estate, employer stock or closely held businesses. This can be risky: if the value of that asset declines, it can have a significant impact on their overall wealth. 3)    Having multiple advisors without a comprehensive plan: This can lead to conflicting advice and a lack of coordination resulting in poor outcomes.
