This week I learned… how slowly but surely, you start to run on autopilot, and the danger this creates.   Perhaps ‘danger’ is a bit too strong of a word. (I guess that's just my mind running on autopilot here because I'm my own worst critic.) What I mean is that running autopilot means you miss opportunities to improve and to align. There’s a lot of power in hitting that ‘Pause’ button.   As a team, we’ve been using various presentations when we talk to other airports to explain what it is we do as Schiphol Group Aviation Solutions, and the airport challenges we can help with. But when was the last time we ‘paused’ for a moment, to listen to each other’s presentation like it’s the first time we heard it? Well, that’s exactly what we did and that alone was already extremely useful.   When we were imaging to be on the receiving end of it, used empathy to imagine what it’s like to try to comprehend our story, we immediately noticed there’s a lot of things we can improve.   From seemingly small things like the order of the slides, the necessity to have slides for presenting and slides for sending as a PDF, and simply having way too much stuff on certain slides (or, as Caroline Massart put it, having too many ‘consulting slides’ in the deck).   To larger things like adding the things we’re truly unique about, rethinking the way we tall our story, and aligning on how we explain concepts (e.g. what do we mean with ‘airport-to-airport collaboration’).   The actual work starts now but I can certainly recommend everyone take the above approach on anything you use or do as a team. 🚀 Diving into the Future 🌟 Sharing our first insights from the collaboration between Open Communication Group and Novo Nordisk on their M365 Copilot roll-out. Hosted alongside our partners at Fellowmind. Boris Nyland and I, joined by Janus Andreas Børgesen, deep dived into Novo Nordisk's M365 Copilot journey, discussing its potential, the needs for adoption and how to navigate its challenges. Som key points from our conversation: 1️⃣ M365 Copilot is still new and it is important to manage expectations on what it can and cannot do.
