It was great to have our Chief Executive Jon Sparkes OBE play for the Mencap football team last night. This was a historic moment for Mencap and Jon even scored a goal on his debut! ⚽️
Note the ‘debut’😂. Seriously hats off Jon Sparkes OBE - not many charity CEOs would do that! And @Vijay Patel not many captains are that persuasive! I can feel a sector challenge in the offing!

1moHow I wish the team photo had been taken before the game and not after, as my face is clearly the colour of a Mencap t-shirt after 40 minutes of gruelling football ... my first actual game of football since I was turning out for the UNICEF UK team in 2014!
