#EURO2024 brings back memories of #EURO2012 which championships took place in Poland in 4 cities with newly built stadiums. Panattoni at that time was present mainly in Poland and the Czech Republic and we could still be able to list the projects from the top of our heads. Looking back at the marketing campaign 12 years ago, our focus was growth in big Polish cities and through a massive sports event like the football championships and below analogies, the aim was to familiarize the addressee with the industrial space sector. #marketinginperspective #companyhistory #outoftheboxthinking

Team value at #Euro2024 If England and Romania were to meet in this European Championship, the Three Lions would obviously be the favorites. However, in a single match, anything can happen in football, and coach Iordanescu's team might even play a trick against Southgate's squad, supported by the 30,000 enthusiastic Romanian fans who paint the stands of German arenas yellow at every match. But if we look at this chart representing the value of the squads (on the horizontal axis) and the average age (on the vertical axis) of the teams participating in Euro 2024, we would probably think there would be no contest between England and Romania. How can a team worth a total of 90 million euros stop a powerhouse valued at 1,520 million? Fortunately, we know that at the end the field is the true judge, and money isn't everything. However, it's interesting to visually see how much difference there is between the European powerhouses (primarily England, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal) and the others. The relationship between on-field performance and the monetary value of the players is not directly proportional, and this is equally well understood from the chart. Too much disparity. Is this a system that can last long time? In my opinion, no, but I fear that instead of bringing everything back to a more realistic dimension, the gap will widen further, and we will increasingly witness championships and leagues where only the richest will play. It's been a while since I tried to learn about and share cool projects in countries outside my filter bubble. Inspired by #Euro2024, I'm looking at the knockout round underdogs. FOX, the network carrying the games in the US, says the three teams least likely to survive the round of 16 are #Georgia, #Slovakia, and #Slovenia. Besides having randomly hung out with a pack of Slovenia fans during a 2010 World Cup group stage match against team USA (a crazy 2-2 tie in the end), I have very little familiarity with these countries and would love to change that...keeping an eye on my primary focus topics here: #realestate and the #futureofwork. Between the three countries, I also only have 2 connections and 9 followers, so I am going to need some help here. So here is where I need your help, especially from friends and connections in Europe: I would love to learn more about future-forward projects in these countries... perhaps real estate or #office related, maybe more urban planning or otherwise cool uses of the built environment. I'll amplify any fabulous examples and hopefully give some well deserved visibility to the people leading the change.
