📸 Reflecting on the fantastic Pixelz Inc #FlowNYC2023 event! 🚀 What an incredible experience it was to be part of Flow NYC 2023! This event truly emphasized the power of connection and community. 🙌 I had the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion alongside the brilliant Clair Carter-Ginn, Ashley Chappell, and May Lin Le Goff. We dove into the profound topic of collaboration and its impact. Here are some key takeaways from our discussion: 1. Brands should build a diverse bench of creative talent, both in-house and beyond. These partnerships broaden the perspectives represented and allows for more inclusion in the creative process. This enables your brand to connect authentically with your audience, share compelling stories with unique and diverse creative content while seamlessly meeting business needs. 2. When choosing partners and developing relationships, maintaining open, two-way feedback is paramount. Feedback is a gift, and valuing it necessitates acting to drive positive change. 3. Successful collaboration starts with a clear vision, well-defined goals, budget considerations, and a solid timeline. Setting these foundations from the outset ensures everyone is aligned and knows what to expect. If you missed the panel, no worries! You can catch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gYVEv5tw Thank you to Aleksandra Panyukhina and Pixelz for hosting this remarkable event and allowing us to share insights into the dynamic world of collaboration. Let's continue to learn, grow, and innovate together! I'd love to hear your thoughts and any key takeaways you had from the discussion. Feel free to connect with me if you'd like to discuss further. 🤝 #FlowNYC2023 #PhotoStudioOps #CreativeOps #Collaboration #Community #Partnerships

This year’s D&AD festival was an inspiring convergence of the creative community keen to gain new insights from the best-in-industry. There were many talks and jury panels giving a retrospective of the judging process and the stunning works in each category, as well as masterclasses for those who wanted to expand their expertise. D&AD started with an opening speech by CEO Jo Jackson about her plans to help emerging talent get into the creative industry with the new D&AD Shift Programme. There were various talks and panel discussions; some talks of note included a discussion on how to make the future irresistible by Brian Collins & Leland Maschmeyer of COLLINS. Tackling the challenge of going beyond boundaries and binaries in the Metaverse by LEANNE ELLIOTT-YOUNG of Institute of Digital Fashion, Suhair Khan of open-ended and Kadine James of Artificial Rome moderated by Amy Dick Global Brand & Impact Leader. Equally, the Jury Insights panel gave a great inside look into the judging process. Contributing Editor of Wallpaper, Amah-Rose McKnight-Abrams’s conversation with the Jury Panellists of Graphic & Type Design looked at the intersection of design, cultural roots, diversity and human interactions. Tackling the challenge of AI in film and direction in the Jury Panellists of Crafting Excellence hosted by Amy Frearson of Dezeen as well as the Jury Panellist of Luxury moderated by Lucy Lealand of Country and Town House. While the topics of each talk varied, a recurring theme was a renewed focus on craftsmanship, emphasizing the importance of hand-crafted excellence in a digital age. Identity systems underscored their role in creating cohesive brand worlds, while many brands showcased how they're breaking boundaries to engage a more diverse and wider audience. AI was highlighted as a tool to enhance experiential design rather than replace real intelligence. D&AD is an event that not only acts as a celebration of the many artists and creative industries but brings attention to the real challenges our world is facing today and how the industry can move forward. #dandadfestival24 #creativeinsights #designtalks #creativeexcellence #londonevents #creativecommunity #creativeinspiration #southbankcentre #shapingnewgenerationoftalents

Strategist bringing clarity and insight into what is on the horizon's future🚀 | Senior Strategy & Innovation Advisor to Government & Industry Leaders | @UN SDG Minded | i ❤️ #HumanPerformance ㅣGlobal Experience
🏠 🚀 For an idea, product, service, design or technology to become exponential it needs to first be #digitized. It then is able to get on an exponential path to demonetization, dematerialization and finally democratization. ICON has digitized our built environment through their 3D printing hardware and software. They have done so in a way which now means that: 🔹 You (yes you!) can design a building. No need for an architectural background or understanding of civil engineering. You can use their AI enabled Vitruvius software and design something and the software will figure out the rest (floor plan, 3D printing needs etc) 🔹Anyone can be an architect and make money from their designs. 🔹Building is going to become cheaper and have more diversity in design. This is the kind of imaginative thinking in business that Lily Snyder and I will be capturing in our forthcoming book called "The Imagination Dilemma: and how businesses can overcome it to thrive". You can get on the waitlist to be the first to know what it is available for pre-order --> www.imaginationdilemma.com When technology can do everything for you, what is left is #imagination. Thanks for sharing the video Michael McDaniel

Just under 100 days till #CES2024... For those who might be new to #CES, it is an annual trade show and conference dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements and innovations in consumer #electronics and #technology. The event serves as a platform for companies, both established industry leaders and emerging start-ups, to unveil new products and tech across various sectors, including electronics, #automotive, #digitalhealth, #entertainment, and more. Last year saw themes of tech for good, automotive, digital health & wellness, #sustainability, and the #metaverse. This year, sustainability remains a hot topic, joined by exciting focuses like AI, beauty tech and food tech innovation. Keep an eye on these game-changers! For those attending, don't miss out on exhibits from global giants like Amazon, Google, #Samsung, and more. They're set to redefine what's possible at CES 2024! Here are some CES 2023 highlights: Canon EMEA unveiled its most expansive CES booth to date. In a creative collab with director M. Night Shyamalan and his movie ‘Knock at the Cabin’ Canon created an immersive exhibit which featured a life-sized replica of the film's eerie cabin, nestled in a meticulously crafted forest environment spanning a sprawling 10,000-square-foot area on the show floor. Here, Canon showcased how their cutting-edge technology blurs the lines between the physical and virtual realms. Reddit, Inc. unveiled a "Future Tellers" installation. The focal point was a colossal, Reddit-branded crystal ball-esque structure. Here, visitors had the unique opportunity to peer into the discussions happening on Reddit today—conversations that might seem far-fetched now but hold the potential to become commonplace in the years to come. Pinterest built a multi-room activation and meeting space designed to inspire visitors to envision a bold future. Vibrant decor, an eclectic blend of shapes and textures, and captivating photo collages adorned the walls, creating a real-world representation of the Pinterest platform. In addition to the main space, breakout meeting rooms delved into trending topics on the social media platform. CES holds immense value as it serves as a direct conduit to the cutting edge of technology and innovation. By exploring new innovations that are presented at CES, we learn what trends are emerging and what consumers prefer. This first-hand knowledge empowers us to craft brand experiences that are not only current but also forward-thinking, ensuring our clients and the attendee's needs remain at the forefront. From futuristic product launches to interactive exhibits that push the boundaries of engagement, CES provides a blueprint for creating memorable, impactful brand experiences. It's a playground of ideas and possibilities that allows us to envision and implement strategies that will shape the future of brand interaction. We're excited to witness the next wave of tech that will shape our world – will you be attending in January?
