3wThe stories of cooperatives forming in the 1920s in the US, through collective action and support from the Commerce Department and Ag Extension, to bring electricity and insurance pooling to rural communities are a great example of a working model today. The difference is that Land O'Lakes today is huge and has access to capital in ways that few did in the 1920s.
