CBCT bronchoscopy is a safe and accurate alternative for early diagnosis of lung cancers. By providing tool-in-lesion imaging, it not only provides a yield of around 90% but also increases confidence in non-malignant results. Alvin and I are proud to have performed the first case in a public hospital only a few months after performing the first ever CBCT bronchoscopy case in Australia at Macquarie University Hospital.
