You can place your order while in the drive thru line as well as pre-pay. At pick up you're greeted by name and thanked for your order. No need to stop at a speaker. No need to share a code. Additional benefits: Based on a guest's distance to the brick & mortar (McDonald's) we would use order sequencing to determine when the order is fired off to the kitchen (curbside, table service, counter, and drive thru). Here’s how the tools played a role in bringing this project to life: Tools Used: - Firebase: Managed real-time cloud-based data storage. - Material-UI: Created a clean, responsive interface with customizable components. - Node.js: Handled server-side logic for smooth data flow and app responsiveness. - Next.js: Enabled fast, SEO-friendly pages with built-in routing and server-side rendering. - Vercel: Seamless deployment and hosting, ensuring the app is always accessible.
