In today's consumer market, the perception of greenwashing has become increasingly significant. Companies are often accused of misleading consumers about their environmental practices, harming trust and derailing genuine sustainability efforts. I had the opportunity to lead a workshop on this very topic as part of the UWC Building a Sustainable Future 2024 program. This online short course brought together passionate youth from across and beyond Europe to delve into the complexities of sustainability. During the greenwashing workshop, we explored how companies can sometimes present a facade of environmental responsibility while continuing unsustainable practices behind the scenes. Through engaging in discussions and self-reflection activities, participants learned to identify greenwashing tactics and advocate for true sustainability. The program is designed to cover a wide range of sustainability issues, from climate change and economic systems to social inequalities and human rights. I am proud to be part of this initiative that not only educates but also inspires young minds to challenge the status quo and build a genuinely sustainable future. 🌍✨ #uwcbsf #sustainability
