The last couple of months have been full of uncertainty for many, not least for Communications practitioners. On the back of four years of high quality, highly respected mahi during COVID, it felt like Comms (both external, engagement AND internal) was getting the respect it has long deserved. Despite some unfortunate rhetoric pre-election, the powers that be are starting to recognise how important this resource is to their many programmes of change and this has been reflected in the increase of activity in the market. It is crucial in times like these to have a network of highly skilled and like minded people to share and learn from.
