I'm from a tiny village in the south of the UK that nobody has heard of, and have been living in London for about 4 years. Today, my life mainly revolves around my dog. 💼 Role: Global Head of Content 🌟 Career Highlight: I've had quite a few highlights at Grabyo - I've been with the company for 5 years and have been given great opportunities to grow and develop my career. I started as a PR and Comms manager, and now manage content strategy and production for many areas of the business. Each year has been different from the last - life at a start-up is varied and fast-paced and I've enjoyed the ride. If I had to pick one moment - the time I had to try and run alongside very young and athletic cameramen over the alps mountains while trying to shoot a case study - beautiful views, but I almost passed out. 💻 Favourite Grabyo Aspect: My favourite current Grabyo feature is a combination of dynamic transitions, graphic transitions and multi-action key bindings for live production. You can create some great looking scenes and layouts and transition between them with effects using a Streamdeck or hardware device. The output looks very cool, and it appeals to the creative in me - and I've spent a fair amount of time playing with it. 🎨 Hobbies: Oh the pressure to sound interesting. I'm a big sports fan - I have a passing interest in most sports but follow football the closest (Man United fan, please don't judge). I'm also into video gaming - a few of us at Grabyo are known to jump online of an evening and shoot each other in a virtual setting. I also enjoy movies - mainly sci-fi/fantasy - Star Wars, Marvel type-things. I'll never turn down a conversation about those. 🕵️ Interesting Fact: More than around 10 years before joining Grabyo, I met Cesc Fabregas (one of Grabyo's initial investors) in London on a college trip. For the past few months, I've been working with two key collaborators for "Black One Blood Brothers" by HELIOS STUDIO : a dedicated marketing manager Gregory Queste and a talented content creator Alex Durel Their selection wasn't random but based on several essential criteria. The first and most crucial: the human connection. It's essential to collaborate with individuals who share the same values and passions. People with whom exchanges are fluid and enriching, and with whom a long-term partnership is envisioned. This human connection strengthens team cohesion and fosters harmonious collaboration. The second point is competence. My collaborators have a solid expertise in their respective fields. The marketing manager excels in promoting and showcasing my game, while the content creator brings undeniable creativity and skill in creating engaging content. Together, we form a dynamic and complementary team, ready to tackle the challenges of game development. I'm grateful to surround myself with such talented and committed individuals, and I'm confident that this collaboration will lead us to success. 👋 Job Update: As of the end of November, my role as Chief Product Officer at Timelog concluded alongside nine other positions. It is part of a strategic restructuring to drive the company towards a positive EBITDA and a new trajectory. It is no secret that the ride ended before I would have liked it to, but unfortunately the changed market conditions have forced Timelogs hand. Wishing Timelog the best on its journey ahead, you will come out stronger on the other side ♥️ I am sure the future holds exciting possibilities for me within Product Management or Product Development. Whether shaping product strategies, leading development teams or a combination, I'm ready for the next adventure. Roles like Chief Product Officer or Head of Products align with my aspirations although titles mean little to me.
