Record Numbers at 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships - 3,500+ players competed - 7,000 matches played - 50,000 fans The 2023 Nationals wrapped up this month with its fair share of complaints from event-goers. But maybe that was partially due to the sheer volume of visitors at Brookhaven Country Club this year. The PPA Tour says attendance more than doubled initial projections, with over 50,000 picklers throughout the 7-day event. I won my FIRST team championship! I've never been on a team sport. Mostly, I compete with myself, but I still like to win, who doesn't? This year, I convinced two of my friends to join a skeeball league with me (yes, skeeball!), something I've wanted to do for years. I wasn't great, but I just had so much fun doing it. We're now on our second season, and it's the night of the championship. We're ranked 4th out of 8 teams (it's a mini summer season as it's usually 20+ teams).  Somehow, we made it to the finals with a few lucky rolls on our side and a few lucky misses from the other side. I LIKE going first. The popular strategy is to go second and see what score you have to beat. I like going first because I just want to do my best, and then just see what happens. As I'm practicing before the next game, something clicks, and I just level up. Our opponent got to choose who went first, and they chose us. There was no pressure, no benchmark — we just did our best. And WE WON. Just do YOUR best. It's ENOUGH. #SkeeballChamps #CustomerSuccess #RevenueGrowth
