We are absolutely grateful to have the privilege to work with founders, teams and impact investors on really great ideas that makes the world a much better place. An outstanding example of this is the Berlin-based Querfeld, which has just successfully completed its CLA financing round.   Querfeld is a Berlin-based company dedicated to combating food waste by selling organic fruit and vegetables that are not in line with the market standards but are of high quality. The company works with a large number of organic farms and ensures that even "crooked" fruit and vegetables are processed in canteen kitchens throughout Germany.   A great deal of passion is required to operate sustainably in this business. Breaking Through is back! This time, we are heading to Casper, WY, and Backwards Distilling Company. The WBC and Backwards Distilling have worked together closely for over 10 years and, as the small business has grown, so has our relationship. "We felt like it was important to work with the Business Council early on… and then as time went on, we were able to use some of the programs they have to support businesses," says Amber Pollock. And that's the goal! WBC programs, like the trade show grant, are designed to equip Wyoming businesses to thrive and expand (as far as across the globe). After years of partnership, Backwards is three years into exporting to Taiwan and imagining a bright future, which "wouldn't have been possible without the support of the Business Council."
