Rishi Valmiki ji tells us that there are four qualities important for success in life: घृति ( ghrati ) - strong willpower that keeps one firm in one's resolve धृष्टि - vision or wisdom to see long term consequences मति - intellect for objective reasoning  दाक्ष्य - Skill/capability in implementation When we started working on Google I/O Connect, we at Spalba made sure that we follow all the 4 principles stated above.  Rest as they say is history.  Sharing a post event video we created, we knew this was a milestone event and hence should be captured well so that the journey is set in stone and remembered for ever. The most important thing that came out of this entire exercise was "people", people who lead, people who came together to deliver the project, people who showed positive camaraderie. They trusted each other, shared common goals, communicated openly, collaborated, supported each other, respected differences, celebrated success, and spent time together. Overall, their coming together created a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture where each one of them genuinely cared about each other's well-being and success. I have been promoted within the Google EMEA Sales Consultants Team. A moment to reflect: Since joining the team in Jan 22, I got to work with a vast variety of Google's globally largest clients and helped achieving their business and marketing goals. For the duration of 12 weeks +, I get assigned to 1-3 clients at a time and drive priority advertising projects with them. Most fascinating: No project was alike, which means there was not once the feeling of a flattening learning curve. Sundar Pichai - CEO of Google(1st Non-white CEO) Let's Have a Look about his Journey. 2002-Got his 3rd degree at The Wharton School Of Business after IIT & Stanford. 2004- Joined Google as a Product Manager. 2005- Launched Google Maps- Today Has 1 Billion Active Users. 2008- Google Chrome Was down due to high cost & Competitions-today has 64.5% Market Shares. He Also Became The Vice-president of Google in 2008. 2012-Took Over Google Apps After the head left to start his own Company,Upstart. 2013-Headed the Android One Project-Increased Android Users from 230million to 1 Billion 2014- Rejected the CEO position offer at Microsoft and Twitter-stuck at Google. 2015-Became the first Non-white CEO of Google. 2016- Awarded Google conglomerate, Alphabet's share worth $199 Million 2017- Launched Tez In India-30 Millions transactions within 2 Months- Eventually rebranded to Google Pay. 2019- Became CEO of Alphabet Inc.Also the highest paid CEO in the IT industry 2022- Received the Padma Bhushan. #google #alphabet #chrome

Aur kahi aisa content nhi milega!” Is wrong! 🤷 and let’s be honest! Several youtubers have done it! Because they know that their target audience - college students and service based employees are easy to manipulate, ‘emotional push-selling’ works magically over here! ✨ But nobody talks about - 1. Mental Health 2. Depression 3. Anxiety & Imposter Syndrome Out of the ‘International Job’ or the so-called ‘High Paying Job’! That’s why still the DSA courses of those so-called influencers sell at a booming rate despite of Over-Saturation of Same-Content coz they are not making their own data structures at the end in the course right? 😂 I highly appreciate Raj Vikramaditya aka #striver to talk about these burning issues and explaining why ‘Money is not everything!’ There’s a reason why takeUforward has a Cult following ! Simply because he is not a ‘Seller of Dreams’! But ‘Flag Hoister of Reality’!🚀 You can’t stop the truth by sending ‘1 crore defamation’ notice! Still takeUforward is one of the most visited websites by techies at any level! Not because it’s free! Because it has quality and class! Nothing bad happens when you beat the sun up in the morning. ☀️ In 2017, I hosted a sales summit at Google HQ. An idea borne out of a 7AM conversation just a few months prior with a colleague in the desk next to me Ben Tyson. At this point, I hadn't ever hosted a summit of any kind on Google's campus. I also had never worked with TV partners and retail partners (I was a media & advertising guy.) But I worked with business development, partner marketing, product marketing, and the event staff to get this done. We thought through every detail, the content, the delivery, and what we wanted success to look like. We had partners from across the globe fly in for this, and it went off without a hitch. I was promoted three months later. And when I left Google to pursue a new opportunity, they backfilled my position with two people. Skills can be transferrable across industries. All it takes is a chance. Your potential is there. Just have to believe in it. Pichai was selected to become the next CEO of Google on August 10, 2015, after previously being appointed Product Chief by the then CEO Larry Page. Pichai joined Google's board of directors in July 2017. In December 2019, Pichai became CEO of Alphabet, Google's parent company, after Larry Page stepped down. From Political consulting to Google? Here’s how 9 months at Google India actually challenged me: Assumption 1️⃣ A Product Specialist knows EVERYTHING about the product category. ✅ Reality: A product category at Google has multiple sub-products and each their own specialist. This does not mean that they do not know about it, it’s just very specialized to provide genuine depth of understanding to solve client problems. Assumption 2️⃣ Bottoms up approach to finish everything in your to-do list works best ✅ Reality: A top down approach is the best strategy. Always look at the big picture and work your way downwards like investing time and bandwidth on meetings that have clear agendas and goals. Often Googlers have more activities on their schedule than they have bandwidth for, hence this is crucial. Assumption 3️⃣ Stakeholder alignment would be easier now that I don’t deal with government officials. ✅ Reality: You have to keep your stakeholders in the loop constantly. I initially struggled with how detailed and frequent the communication should be, still make a lot of mistakes but once I understood the context and objectives better it helped. #lifeatgoogle Let me know what you would like to hear more from me by commenting or dm!

I dare you to go to your manager and ask him/her for a 1-on-1 for a 15 minute meeting, are you asking why? FYI, I proudly work at Persistent Systems, Bengaluru in Google Business Unit, predominantly on Google Maps! So, yesterday I spoke to my manager who had been into Google ecosystem for over 7+ years now and this is what I learned 👇 1. Setting Expectations: I learned that I am on the right path when I expressed my ambitions and was able to comprehend the team's shared visions. 2. Making an Impact (Be an expert): Not all manager say this, but I learned that wherever you go, whatever you do, however you be; always be best at what you do - achieve targets, do more than expected, help your colleagues, and be the one the team VERY HIGHLY rely up and look up - BECOME A BRAND! 3. Squeeze the knowledge: Knowledge definitely is a power, ask more questions, know more, apply on work, repeat - and you shall be unassailable. Your manager is not approachable? Just become the one whom your manager is afraid to loose! There's always a way, if there be a will. #cheers to making it BIG!
