While their following is also neck and neck (on primary handles), one of the most surprising things I see is this: The relatively small LinkedIn following compared to other platforms. Besides the sheer volume of business leaders who passionately follow each club, attend matches and do business in, around or with the club, both clubs have amazing business ecosystems: Media, merchandise, licensing, technology and service integration, hospitality and of course, sponsorships. When looked at in totality, these business ecosystems can deliver tremendously insightful storylines and lessons for the business community.
