I was promoted twice within 8 months at Deel 🤓
This is what I did:
1. Built my brand internally & externally:
I became known across Deel for my expertise in cold calling, establishing a strong presence both internally and externally.
2. Coached others:
By mentoring other reps with strategies and encouragement, I not only lifted our team's performance but also highlighted my investment in our collective success.
3. Loud career aspirations:
I didn't wait for opportunities; I reached for them. Expressing my ambition to grow and actively seeking guidance were key.
4. Walked the walk early on:
I took on responsibilities of an AE before the promotion was even on the table, showcasing my capability and readiness for the role.
5. Made a lot of noise:
Every win, no matter the size, was a chance to make some noise—positively.
By putting in the work, being ready for opportunities, and consistently delivering value, it was shown to me that you can create your own luck ⭐
Building a personal brand, whether on LinkedIn or within your company, is about consistency, authenticity, and value 📈
It's not just about being known as the "cold calling king" but about proving how traditional skills, when mastered and innovated upon, can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
