Trump invites Biden to take cognitive test together "All presidential candidates should be mandated to take a cognitive test and aptitude test, regardless of their age," former US leader said NEW YORK, July 13/ Former US President and Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has invited incumbent President Joe Biden, his main opponent in the race, to take a cognitive test together. "Joe should immediately take a cognitive test, and I will go with him, and take one also. For the first time we’ll be a team, and do it for the good of the country," he wrote on the Truth Social media platform. "And from now on, all presidential candidates should be mandated to take a cognitive test and aptitude test, regardless of their age," Trump added. The US will hold its presidential election on November 5. Trump has already secured the Republican presidential nomination. Biden, who is seeking a second term in office, has won enough delegates to get the Democratic nomination. Both were expected to be approved as presidential candidates at their parties’ conventions but after Biden’s failure in the June 27 election debate with Trump, calls are growing louder for Biden’s withdrawal from the race. #business #finance #financialservices

NEW REUTERS POLL SHOWS TRUMP LEADING BIDEN IN 7 SWING STATES BY AN AVERAGE OF 6 POINTS. TRUMP COULD WIN A LANDSLIDE IN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE IF THE NUMBERS HOLD TRUE. According to #Reuters in its opening assessment of what the poll found, “U.S. President Joe Biden’s chances of re-election are being jeopardized by voters’ concerns over his #age, the #economy and #crime, according to a Reuters/Ipsos #poll, creating an opportunity for #Republican challenger Donald Trump to return to the White House.” The key paragraph by Reuters when it comes to the all-important swing states that will decide the #Electoral College tally come 2024 reads: “But in a worrisome result for #Biden , #Trump held a small advantage in the seven states where the 2020 #presidential #election was closest: #Georgia, #Arizona, #Wisconsin, #Pennsylvania, #northcarolina, #Nevada and #Michigan. In those states, Trump led with 41% to Biden’s 35%, and 24% undecided.” Bottom line: Trump is well-positioned to win in #2024 if Joe Biden is the #Democrat candidate.

Here is an article I have written that discusses the reality that a large majority of the voters do not want either President Biden or former President Trump to run for office in 2024. Without arguing the relative merits, possible criminal behavior, or other shortcomings of both men or either party, it presents six practical reasons why both parties should nominate younger and more centrist candidates for President. Many Republican, Democrat, and Unaffiliated voters prefer a candidate who will be more likely be able to serve until 2029, create an improved climate of compromise and civility in Washington, and have the vision to enable the United States to maintain a dominant role in international affairs.

What are the chances that the upcoming U.S. presidential debate will give the American electorate a clear picture of two political ideological camps on matters of policy, as distinct from ad hominen personal attacks and cheap one-liners? In the E.U., translated into American terms, the states' governors vote to nominate a person for president of the executive branch, and the lower legislative chamber (the European Parliament, which is similar to the US. House of Representatives) votes up or down on the nominee. Is this a better system? Even if yes, how might it be improved? In terms of the nominations, the E.U. is in line with historical federalism because state-level officials pick the federal officials. US Election Lookahead – Trump 2.0 Scenario With the US presidential election less than nine months away, Joe #Biden and Donald #Trump remain the two consistent frontrunners for their respective parties. Trump is polling marginally ahead in swing states, but has more visible “speed bumps” between now and #election day, with multiple court cases outstanding. Biden remains vulnerable to age-based incidents and the ongoing crisis at the southern #border, but economic indicators are positive. Here's what you #NeedToKnow about the #USElection and potential second #Trump Administration:   1. The increasing prospect of a second Trump term has been highly disruptive for #business planning and continuity. The degree of disruption in this scenario would depend in large part on the balance of power in #Congress, and court rulings over his expected use of executive powers. 2. the domestic front, a second Trump Administration would prioritise loyalty and ideology over professionalism and experience in its appointments.
