I just wrapped up an incredible few days at the Innovation Summit Paris 2024! 🎉     The theme of this year’s summit was “Innovation for Impact,” aiming to promote a sustainable future through Electricity 4.0 – the most effective means to achieve NetZero. In today’s world, innovation and technology play a vital role in driving significant change and creating long-lasting impacts on our planet. During his keynote speech, Peter Herweck emphasized five significant megatrends that are reshaping the way we live, work, and conduct business. Therefore, companies must adapt to this ever-changing landscape by: - Implementing new technologies  - Building strong partnerships - Incorporating sustainable practices to remain resilient    By combining automation, electrification, and digitization, we can create opportunities for businesses to achieve a sustainable future. Being surrounded by so many industry peers, leaders, and experts was an incredible experience, and it reaffirmed my belief in the potential for us to create a real, positive #Impact. Austria goes digital.   🤝 Our Austrian partner ACAM, hosted a "Digital Thread. A key to sustainable success" event in Leoben last Friday. It was all about how the digital twin helps to minimize production costs, the use of artificial intelligence to make companies more profitable and how the way we work can be optimized through digitalization. A big thank you Johann Mathais for organizing such a great event with exciting presentations and valuable exchange.   🙏Thanks to Markus Lutz and Roland Jenewein for your presentation on "Customer Success". The insights were not only exciting, but also made me proud of the impact our technology has in this area. Without any doubt, Siemens Xcelerator is the platform for digital transformation in Austria.   🌱 And how does digitalization fit into a sustainability agenda? Pina Schlombs gave us an exciting insight and food for thought on this topic. And Johannes Ch. EIBINGER, MSc demonstrated that a serious topic can be tackled in a very entertaining way with our sustainability game, helping customers scope their action fields in sustainability.  Moreover Jürgen Mathais showed innovative approaches, technologies and concrete possibilities in the field of MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) together with Viktor Braun who demonstrated how our digital threads help clients drive the individual journey for their industry.   🙌All in all, it was an great event that not only highlighted the current state of digital transformation in Austria, but also showed concrete ways in which we can further accelerate it.   Many thanks to everyone who was involved.
