In this round of cricket, even though Bangladesh couldn't defeat India, SI Anik, the talented player from Bangladesh, secured a notable victory by defeating India's top player, SHADOKEN, 3-1 in Street Fighter 6 at the CPT WW 23 main event in Los Angeles, USA. This victory ensures Bangladesh's flag flies high on the international esports stage in Los Angeles, marking SI Anik's preparation for representation on the international esports stage. Congratulations to SI Anik, and best wishes for the main event in Los Angeles. Let's go, Bangladesh! Bangladesh is not only representing itself on the international stage in cricket and football but is also making strides in the world of esports. The country's flag is now ready to be showcased on the international stage in esports. We all know that the gaming industry (226 billion) is larger than the movie (77 billion) and music (27 billion) industries combined. However, esports, despite having a significant presence, lags behind due to a lack of proper and comprehensive coverage on national television. Nevertheless, over time, there has been a rapid transformation in the country, and esports is catching up with substantial growth each year. #ESNBD #SiAnik #StreetFighter6 #StreetFighter #CPTWW23 #CPTWW #CapcomProTour #BDESPORTS #esportsnews

Women in the country are not only advancing in cricket and football but also in the modern era's esports scenario. We extend our gratitude to "Rtv Sports | Sports" for highlighting this matter. If all the top news media in our hopeful nation could collectively showcase the positive aspects of Bangladesh's esports and gaming scene, it could potentially make esports one of the most promising sectors for Bangladesh. Despite not delivering a commendable performance in the finals, as it was the first experience for Team Hexagon and Team Celestials in VCT GC, this experience will undoubtedly prepare them for the upcoming VCT GC SA Split 2. Best wishes to them for the next season. #ESNBD #RTV #RtvSports #RtvSportsখেলাধুলা #TeamHexagon #TeamCelestials #VCT #VCTGameChangers #valorant #riot #riotgames #bdesports #esportsbd #BangladeshEsports #EsportsBangladesh

#VilayInsight | The Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL) is a team-based e-cricket and entertainment league that offers an exciting experience to fans of cricket, gaming, and esports. It is the world's first e-cricket league and has a massive prize pool of INR 2.51 Crore. The league features 56 league matches in the closed league stage and 4 playoff matches at the grand finale, which is scheduled to be held at a prominent venue in Pune. The competition is played using the free-to-play cricket simulation game Real Cricket 22 for iOS and Android devices. With 2 lakh registrations already gathered, the future of GEPL looks promising, and it is expected to continue growing and attracting a larger audience, showcasing the potential of e-cricket as a popular and competitive esport. The Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL) is a three-stage gaming tournament. The format includes the Qualifiers, Closed Offline League, and Offline Event. In the Qualifiers stage, a large number of registered players compete in a single-elimination bracket to determine the top 256 players, who then participate in an eight-round swiss draw bracket. The top 100 players from this stage qualify for the Closed Offline League, where they play a round-robin league to determine the top 20 players. Yesterday, at the 142nd IOC Session in Paris, the IOC officially (and unanimously) approved the creation of the Olympic Esports Games, with the first event set for 2025 in Saudi Arabia. This marks the start of a 12-year partnership between the IOC and the Saudi Arabian NOC. The IOC will soon begin determining the selection of titles and the player qualification process. Will the IOC collaborate with existing National eSports Federations or the IFs and NOCs already part of the Olympic Movement to determine participating players? Will the traditional IFs be responsible to organise qualification tournaments? Considering the holistic way with which the IOC approached esports the past few years, prioritising virtual versions of traditional sports (such as eBASEBALL, Virtual Taekwondo or Gran Turismo), it seems unlikely that traditional esports titles (such as Dota 2, League of Legends or Counter-Strike) will be included, as some believe they may not align with the core values of the Olympic movement. Interestingly, the IOC has announced it will create a new dedicated structure to accommodate the unique nature of esports. This new event is likely to bring many interesting legal issues, such as those related to doping and qualification. How will the IOC address these disputes — using its traditional approach or a new method? Exciting times ahead 🎮🥇 #Olympics #Esports

Politics aside, the scale of the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024 hosted in Saudi Arabia and supervised by ESL, is absolutely huge. Here are some numbers to help you visualize how big of a deal this thing actually is. For comparison's sake, the biggest sporting event right now in the world is probably UEFA Euro 2024. With 24 nations competing at the highest level of football. If a national team won every possible match in the Euros, they will have made only €28.25 million euros ($30.17 million USD). This is insane to me esports, a form of competitive sport only invented around 50 years ago is already taking over football in terms of prize money. A sport that has been around for hundreds of years.

As a French company, headquartered in Paris, we’re incredibly proud of the fantastic coverage at this year’s Olympics. Paris truly was a great host and now we look forward to the start of the Paralympics next week. 🇫🇷 It was great to see some new sports inaugurated this year, representing the increasing diversity and participation in different sporting activities. 🛹 We’ve already seen that the IOC lent its support to the first-ever Virtual Olympics Series in the runup to the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and it seems like the Committee may have its eyes on the inclusion of esports for the next Games in Los Angeles in 2028. 🇺🇸 With strong growth in all major areas of esports, particularly with the younger demographic across the world, including esports could increase the appeal of the Olympics and engage new audiences. 🎮 Whether or not it is sanctioned for inclusion remains to be seen but we’re keeping an eye open further news. 👀 Have your say in the comments. Do you think we’ll ever see the likes of CS2 or LoL at the Olympic Games in the future? 🤔 #OlympicGames #Paris2024 #Esports #IOC #LA2028 #EsportsOlympics #PandaScore
