This moved me this morning. More than I expected it to. It reaffirms my belief that I’m having more of an impact online than “entertainment”. #womenshealth #endometriosis #advocacy #publichealth
I can confirm you’re having a lot more impact than just entertainment. What you’re doing on social media MATTERS. 🙏🏻
Dr Karan Rajan well done my friend and no doubt about the outstanding impact that you are having 👏 and your book is just a marvel and I am still sad that I've missed your stand up show in London 👍 On a side note women health is such an underserved space and endometriosis is the peak of the iceberg. That's why our friend Dr Zahid Khan together with Dr. John Malatesta, Grazia Antonacci, 周山山 Shanshan Zhou, Massimo Micocci and myself invested so much in the My Anna Health journey 🙌
As someone on the receiving end of the dismissal of symptoms that were caused by endo, please, don’t stop banging this drum! It took me 8 years to be diagnosed, with one gynae consultant telling me it was because “I’d abused my body by not having a child by 37, and caused the endo”. It’s breathtakingly shocking that it’s allowed to continue now we know more about it…
I’ve never used TikTok but I found you on LinkedIn and downloaded your book. I design medical devices for use in surgery and I love the way you write medical information to make it easier to understand! I have worked alongside many surgeons and I understand the jargon. However I know many people think they can’t understand what doctors are saying because of such communication barriers. Please keep sharing and teaching!
Dr. Raj, I have followed your media since you first started on TikTok and have always appreciated your straightforward language and sometimes humorous approach. You effectively convey messages to a wide audience, providing enough detail for the reader or viewer to determine whether they need to visit a GP. Your presentations are concise yet informative, imparting a wealth of knowledge, sometimes in just a two-minute clip. I, for one, am very interested in everything you have to say (and yes, I have the book—thanks for the signed copy!). Please keep up the good work; you are, quite literally, a life-saver. Kind regards, Keith
You are! We appreciate you, women’s health issues have been dismissed for far too long. I waited 7 yrs to get help (during my perimenopause) for my super heavy bleeding that was intensified by fibroids on my cervix 😢 My symptoms were dismissed as normal- “everyone has heavier bleeding during perimenopause, just deal with it”
You've made healthcare and knowledge really accessible, which helps people take charge of their own health too and have the confidence, like the person who wrote to you, to challenge back. Great content, delivered really well.

1moPlease keep doing what you are doing. As someone who went through 13 years of being told everything was normal and similar experiences to the lady in the post, it took one nurse practitioner to finally listen to me and put me in touch with my consultant. It was only after this interaction that I finally got the tests I had been asking for. It was only then that I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, endometriosis, fibroids and polyps. The next course of action was for a total hysterectomy which I had in October last year and I’m now in the best health both physically and mentally. It’s just a shame it took 13 years of struggles to get to that stage. I didn’t actually know how poorly I was with it all and how much it impacted me until I am now well.
